First try at vegetarian Indian food in the US. Owner was lovely and helpful. Food was well prepared and delicious. Reheated well for second day leftovers!

Pretty tasty, good selection of curries. Could be cleaner and cheaper though. I paid $10 for a fairly small serving.

The food had a lot of flavor to it. However, the food at the food bar was still disappointing. The restaurant was open 30 to 45 minutes prior to entering. Yet, the food at the hot bar was lukewarm or cold. On top of this, the food bar is not true buffet style. It is food by the pound. The food cost 7.99 per pound. The scale is NOT tared prior to placing your tray on the scale. The tray weights 0.05 lb, so you are paying 40 cents per tray. That is A LOT of money. The water filter also needs to be changed on their self service machine. It takes 30 seconds to fill up a 8 oz glass.I will not be coming back to this place on future visits. But I do appreciate the attempt to serve good food.

My favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor. Simple place, unique and excellent food for eating in or take-out, very easy parking too if you drive.

Kinda pricy but the food was great. Definitely would recommend

Very relaxed atmosphere, extremely kind, the vegan options are plentiful and delicious, priced fairly for a small shop. Go-to for quick, good quality vegan fare!

I've tried several of their dishes over the summer at the Saline Farmers Market - tofu masala, curried potatoes, rice and beans, samosas. All have been delicious, and have left me feeling healthy! The staff is very friendly and kind, too. I hope they show up at the indoor Saline Farmers Market over the winter. Their food would be even more welcome on a cold snowy day!

The food at Earthen Jar is fantastic! I have tried many of their dishes and absolutely love it. I normally pick up from their booth at the Pittsfield farmers market. Have eaten at the restaurant to. It is quaint but needs updating.

Best Indian buffet (all vegetarian, lots of vegan options, very well spiced/seasoned) best mango yogurt drink I've ever had. (And I try them everywhere I go)

Half of the Curry's are served very cold like from freezer, they are not tasty. Chana masala is tamrind paste with some garbanzo beans

The service is always quick, good mood, super nice employees. I will visit again when I arrive here.

Delicious vegan food with great prices, a friendly staff, and reggae music. I'm not vegan, but I could easily eat here everyday for the rest of my life!

Amazingly delicious and vegetarian. And nut-free (for those of us with serious allergies, this is typically a challenge to find in vegan food). Did I mention it's delicious? Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. Best dal I've ever had. Period.

Food is delicious. The price is by weight so be careful. We got a usual amout of food (like what you would get at a typical sit down restaurant) and it ended up being around $70 just for lunch 😞
