This restaurant was recommended to us and it definitely lived up to our expectations! The food was amazing and the place was nice and quiet for a late lunch. 5 star service as well. Make sure to save some room at the end for the mango sticky rice dessert!

Best Thai food in the area. You know it’s good when you walk in at noon and every table is full. Atmosphere is excellent.

Excellent food, everything I've gotten here has been great. The Thai iced tea is good too! Lots of seating, fast enough service to enjoy for weekday lunch. Will be back again!

My wife and I first discovered E-san via their food cart on 10th an Alder. Their food is excellent and their prices are fair. A big plus for us is getting the same quality of food at their food cart and their restaurant. The restaurant is a bit crowded where table and chairs are concerned but they have room for large sittings and a balcony area with more seating.

Good Thai food. Loved the yellow curry, pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. Service was good and the place was neat and clean.

Yum! The food is 5 stars. The service is 3 stars. They are cautious with the spice. Ordered extra hot and it was mild. But he Evil Prince was delicious!

We got so many restaurant recommendations that it was difficult in deciding where to go. This place is not large and was very busy and they seemed understaffed and service was slow...but the food was delicious. We had wine and a "sleepy prawn" appetizer which was great. I got the Tomkha soup which was extremely good. We also got a duck curry dish and chicken fried rice which we shared and they were both delicious.

Ordered for the first time via GrubHub, thanks to my son's Mother's Day gift certificate. I chose pork potstickers and Shrimp Drunken Noodles, HOT. The potstickers were good. The main dish was not hot, not even medium hot, just salty and garlicky...NO Heat, except the actual temperature...big disappointment. Make sure you have your own seasonings if you order from these guys...unless this was just an oversight. Other than that it was okay-good. But the shrimp were on the small side, not the plump prawns I get if I order from the competition (Bai Mint, specifically). Might give them another try when I can order in person and I'll avoid the shrimp, and insist on some serious HOT seasoning!.

The best Thai food I have had. The curry is perfect. Everything about this place is great.

E-San has been a terrific lunch destination for a period of time that's long enough that I can't estimate a specific number of years. Great food in a wonderful old building. Service has the perfect combination of efficiency and friendliness.

Great ambiance and beer selection. The pad kee mao v was one of the best I've had. I ordered it 'as hot as possible,' they did an excellent job of making it eye-watering spicy without drowning it in chili.

Dirty glasses, 6/10 food, high prices. Very mediocre.
