Duke's has a reputation for long waits. Their online reservation system said nothing was available for 2.5 hours (a request for a Friday noon table made at 11:30). But I decided to try anyway. The place was half empty, and I was seated virtually immediately, at a four-person table, although I was alone. The Korean steak tacos were fine and reasonably priced for Waikiki. However, some of the listed ingredients (salsa Verde, cilantro) made no impression on my palate. Service was also OK. Although the restaurant is noted for ocean view, I found the guard railing to be exactly at eye level when I was seated. Tall people can watch the surfers...

Was recommended Dukes Waikiki for breakfast from my hotel staff. They offer a breakfast buffet for only $18.00. Everything I ate was delicious. They have made to order omelettes, chicken sausage links, Portuguese sausage, potatoes with vegetables, french toast, pancakes, oatmeal, fried rice and a spread of fresh fruit. I ate her 3 times while I was here and was never disappointed. The best part to me was the coconut syrup for the french toast. Delicious!

Fantastic service (and patience) from our server. Not knowing the types of fish on the menu, they explained them very clearly for us. We had 3 of the 4 dishes and they were all amazing. The salad bar is also nothing to be scoffed at and highly recommended.

If you ever stop here be prepared to spend, Duke's is a high end restaurant with amazing food and positive staff. I had the ribs when I went and they were very good, covered in a BBQ sauce mixed with some mango. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very welcoming and if I could I would go back again. Do note that the restaurant usually if not always takes reservations only.

Good place for a drink or a casual meal. They offer a breakfast buffet for $18 with $5 mimosas. Or lunch buffet for same price but mimosas are full price. Breakfast buffet was much better than lunch. It felt like more variety to choose from. Or service every time was outstanding.

First time in Hawaii and to Duke's. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had the buffet, which was lack luster at best. We did have the fabulous Hula Pie, which we enjoyed. We ordered coffee with our pie, but never received it. By the time our waiter came back to our table to ask how we were doing, we were nearly done with our pie, so we saw no need to ask for it again.

Our table was outside with perfect ocean views. Our server, FANTASTIC and so enthusiastic. She was spot on with our order and was really conscious of our food allergies. She made sure the kitchen and staff were aware and our food tasted great. I ordered a Burger with the infamous BBQ sauce, the portion size was perfect and cooked just right. We were able to substitute fries for salad. They offered a gluten free bun which was fluffy and warm! Our guests enjoyed some vegetarian items as well, such as the hummus and salads. I definitely recommend this restaurant for those suffering from food allergies and looking for a place to eat while traveling this great city! If you don't have allergies, I recommend the buffets here. They have a great variety of items for all to enjoy.

This is a legendary restaurant in Waikiki known for their fish selections. The service was great and the food was even better. They did have vegan/vegetarian options as well. The ice cream cake dessert was to die for and the evening sunset overlooking the beach was a great surprise. Prices were less than mediocre meals at the nearby resort restaurants. Call at least a week ahead to get a reservation on the time and date you need- otherwise you'll have to dine early or late.

Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Not a huge selection but it is good quality food. Dinner salad bar also good. Service at front desk could be improved. Girls appeared a little unpleasant when approached about wait times. There was a drink server who was fantastic. I wish I got her name. She is a real value to your team.

The food at Duke's was amazing! I was initially a little skeptical because of the price, but honestly it was completely worth it. The staff was amazing, and our server Clint was knowledgeable, helpful, and all-around Wonderful. Probably the best food I've had, maybe ever, definitely while on vacation in Honolulu.

We had a nice ocean view table for 5 people for lunch. We decided to have the lunch buffet even though we usually don't prefer that at a nice restaurant. We did it because we wanted to try different items. All buffet times were very good and fresh. We thought the salads were very good and not the typical buffet salads. We had drinks that were also very good but very expensive. Our server was also very friendly.

This place is crazy busy but worth the wait. We visited twice while vacationing in HI. Once as a family with a reservation and once as a couple with no reservation. There really isn't a bad table in this restaurant. The table we had as a family faced the ocean and the deuce was in a small quiet dining area. The food was great, the wine list quality and accessible and the martinis nice and chill. The local fish was delicious, tender and flaky.

Absolutely amazing breakfast!!! The staff are amazing, the food is so nice, the view is stunning. Make your own omelette or try the Banana pancakes they are to die for. I love the ribs, the chicken, and I rarely EVER drink, but if you have a chance to experience their MaiTai, it is SO MUCH BETTER than any you'll find at a luau. If you're in Waikiki I would still highly recommend you do the Dukes Buffet Breakfast!
