Duke of Edinburgh Hotel

I ordered soy coffee. I received milk. Sent back. I ordered burger without cheese. Sent back because cheese was on burger. Lousy service and lousy chefs. Never again.

Ordered a double shot espresso, which the female staff member tried to charge me $7.60 for. Queried the price and with an arrogant tone, Jarrod the duty manager barged in and said that's the price. The security guard asked what's going on in a polite manner then I proceeded to explain. Was then told by the duty manager Jarrod to f off. I exited the venue feeling humiliated by this unprofessional person. Will make a formal complaint tomorrow to Frank the venue manager. Disgraceful customer service!

Very friendly place good for functions

The function room was great we went to a friend's 40th but the carpark was a little scary at night

Food is fabulous but the security guard disappointedly was on his phone the entire time we were there for dinner. 4 stars for that reason.

My son, husband and I randomly chose to eat here. The staff were competent and pleasant, seating us and providing menus promptly. The meals were excellent, pork belly couldn't have been more tender, chicken parmigiana and fish meals were a large serve, and both were enjoyed. Many people were there for lunch on the day we were there, which is a good indication. Dining and rest rooms were both clean and tidy

Bit depressing as it's mainly an older crowd/pokies crowd.

Nice food

Love the food here, generous serves and decent prices

Last week I had the steak special. Very nice except the salad had a lonely less-than-quarter of tomato. But heading home I became increasingly ill. Cheched and yes, there was undisclosed white wine in the mushroom sauce. This week I was left with an anaemic slice of garlic butter in lieu of a sauce and while the steak was much the same, the meal lacked punch. Plus they forgot to serve my apple juice, to which they added ice. When I asked for it, the juice was watered down with melted ice cubes. And if you do go, the airlock sliding doors don't prevent waves of cold air discomforting customers.

Nice and spacious bar with some great variety of food options and ofcourse all the regular drink menu. Reasonably priced. Nice area to be in, close walk to other pubs if you're thinking of a pub crawl.
