Duggan's Brewery

Excellent food, service and price. Well worth a visit for anyone, even if not vegan. Desserts great...our group had three. Mac & (vegan) cheese delicious. Only complaint: music far too loud, could not hear each other. Will return nevertheless.

I paid $9.05 for a double vodka soda that tasted like water. WATER. Then my whiskey shot was DEFINITELY watered down. T R A S H. Bartender was nice though, even if he was part of a god damn scam.

Horrible service! A large group of friends and I walked in and were excited to try the beer. Instead of welcoming us, the waiter said “I want to kill myself”. Man, your restaurant was crickets. Should’ve been happy to have paying customers. We left! Not going back until this place gets turned into something cool!

I’ve never been a fan of Duggans but their space was pretty cool. Now they’ve moved into their basement and lost the only thing they had going for them. Their new entrance is at the back (on Brock) and the place feels a bit damp and cold, but I can imagine a few locals will enjoy how divey it feels. Their beers still suck, of course. Lol

We are a completely different business than Vegandale. They sublet our main floor space and they contract our beer. Duggan’s is now located in the basement, accessed on Brock Ave. Behind the restaurant and downstairs.

Sketchy. Door locked at 9:30pm. Supposed to be open until 11pm.

Excellent beer. Pretty good food, small portions but they are presented well. Music is loud but not too loud to have a conversation. Nice to come to with a small group.

Where is Mel the bartender? How's the hot sauce?

Great fresh beer

A lot of folks are reviewing the food place upstairs, I would split those reviews out... Anyhow the actual brewery DOWNSTAIRS is great. It's a brewery with a speakeasy bar feel. Also has a good setup for live music. The beer is good, not my top choice in Toronto but they have a good selection and some very drinkable stuff. I recommend a visit. You can check off speakeasy and brewery all in one.

Awesome IPA #9 and Sorachi Lager

Such a great spot not just for drinks, the food is always good here. I particularly enjoy the raspberry wheat beer. It's nice and refreshing. I've been here a few times and always like to take people here when they are visiting.

* Non vegan review * I would give 6 stars to this restaurant if I could. You guys will end carnivorism, and that's awesome. One step close thanks to you guys. Cheers!
