Dreamland BBQ Birmingham

BBQ sauce is probably my favorite ever. The ribs were great, but were a little sparse on meat. The Cole slaw, Mac and cheese, and banana pudding were really good.

A must if you like BBQ! A legendary place that continues to hold a high place in the AL BBQ scene. Great staff at this location and great food!

Delicious! I had Tips and chips which is all the goodness of ribs without gnawing the bone. My friend had Brunswick stew and chocolate pudding, both of which I sampled, both of which were excellent. The smoke level is just right. Sauces are flavorful; my fav is the tangy one served with slices of white bread as your table nibbles. I’m a fan of Dreamland in Montgomery and this location in Birmingham upholds the good reputation of the brand. Both restaurants are casual comfortable and reasonably priced.

Must have! Everything was delicious, flavors are all well-balanced, and done to perfection. Cool bar vibes, very relaxed atmosphere and quick, friendly service. Love the sauce and spice rub combo. Do not skip the banana pudding and don't even bother sharing it. Get your own, you'll thank me. Wish it was closer to us!

Enjoyed good food and a great atmosphere. "E" provided terrific table service...no empty cups and plenty of bread and sauce. Definitely a good stop during our travel.

I could ear their every week. I love their ribs. I love them, their bbq is fine. Everytime I go in I have the dilemma of ordering bbq or ribs.

Wonderful bbq, try the stuffed baked potato with rib meat. Best potato I have ever had.

Had the 1/2 chicken with Cole slaw on the side, great.

My first time here in Birmingham and oh my god it is delicious the barbecue sauce was amazing I highly recommend it. I'm am not really a BBQ guy but I definitely want to come again but sadly I live in Beaverton. If the owner sees this can you please make some in Oregon you dont have to if you do not want to I'm totally coming again if I can can you also pay attention to efrem h. He was amazing. Also I would like to say the service was amazing my servers name was efrem h. He was so nice. Again extremely amazing food.

Always enjoy going to Dreamland, we had a slab of ribs and potato salad. The ribs were a little tough but overall great flavor and we will go back. Ribs needs a little more cook time but that is my opinion and no I was not looking for fall off the bone ribs.

Best BBQ and pudding you will ever eat in your LIFE! Appetizer is lite bread and bbq sauce? But so dang good. Three people with different items to share- not a single let down. Don’t visit Bham without stopping here. Our waitress was spectacular!

The service was outstanding, Luis was our server and he made the experience great. The Big Daddy sandwich was awesome. On my list to come back soon

As an avid barbeque fan and having tried other restaurants around Birmingham, I would say Dreamland is my favorite! In particular we enjoy their family style menu for feeding a group. The meat and sides are great. The atmosphere is fun and authentic. I would highly recommend Dreamland to visitors and locals alike!

Best Brunswick Stew I've ever had! Got a quart ate there with Rack of ribs. White BBQ Sauce is so good on the ribs with the BBQ Red Sauce.
