Doughboy's Pizza

This place was so good! I live on the east side of town so a little distance from McKee’s rocks.. was in the area and decided to pick up food to take home to my son and his friend. I got the family special. Large pizza, whole Italian hoagie, dozen wings and a 2 liter for 29 bucks with tax. I thought that was a good deal. And every single thing was eaten. Not one crumb of anything left! And my son is super picky about pizza shops. I will definitely be making the drive from now on to get my pizza from here. The wings were delicious as was the pizza and the hoagie. You won’t be disappointed. I also saw them pulling out some large wedgie from the oven when I was picking my food up that looked amazing as well! Gotta try it next time. Highly recommend!

I thought it was ok. I came here after rave reviews and increased exposure due to local news articles and magazine heaped on praise. I just wasn't thoroughly impressed. The crust was no doubt the best part. It wasn't greasy on bottom and had a nice thickness throughout. I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The cheese was plentiful and the pepperoni was a little spicy which is ok. SOMETHING made this pizza too salty for my liking and I can't quite pinpoint what which I found odd since I've been a pizza making machine for most of my life. The store wasn't very clean though, didn't pass the eye test as I could visibly see areas of the kitchen that hadn't been cleaned in awhile. I would probably try it again, to see if my experience was a one off or if it's just what to expect here. I will update this review once I try it again.

To be very honest, I was beyond impressed. I ordered delivery being a truck driver. The food was delivered promptly and it was super delicious. Thanks.

I stop in to get slices from here. The pizza is great. The service is better. I walk in unannounced and the pizza is ready to go. Always good and out the door in no time. I am not a big shot but I feel like they treat me like a king. Can show up with $10, get like 3 big slices with toppings and tip their hard workers a couple bucks and still leave with change. Thank you, guys.

Called in order and phone was answered in a very friendly manner. Was told delivery time and the driver arrived within 3 mins of stated time. Driver very personable and seemed really appreciative of the tip. Food was as ordered. Fries were salted well not covered in salt and they were packed well so that they were still actually hot not just warm. Sandwich was excellent. Meat seasoned well and just the right amount of dressing.
