Double D Steakhouse

My Wife and I stopped by for lunch on our way to watch the LSU/Alabama game with our Grandson in Sulphur, Louisiana and glad we did. My Wife had the southwest egg rolls and I had 1of their cheese burgers. Both were excellent and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was very, very clean, had great service. If I had to rate them on a scale of 1to 10, I would give them a 10+.

Best steak I have ever had! Unfortunately I didn't get her name but our waitress.. tall beautiful blonde was excellent! We don't live in the area but will make it a tradition from now on to dine in each year.

The best rolls in town! We could just eat there all day. Light, fluffy, a slight crisp on the bottom, and a hint of sweetness served hot n fresh. We arrived 10min til close and were still seated and given really great customer service. The onion rings here are huge covered with a better that tastes just like the country fried steak.

Ok food, excellent service. But very surprised and disappointed with the cost of the meals. 3 adults 1 child. All left hungry, portions were small for 18.99 meal. We purposely went our of our way to support a locally owned restaurant instead of national chain steak house. But I just cant afford this restaurant compared to national chain. My family of 6 can eat and be full for the same price as locally owned. I hate to give negative feedback. But I could have gone to Logan's and feed 6 for the price of 3 here.😕😕😕

Usually a busy dinner spot in town. This place has the exact same menu as Wagon Master in Leesville. The menu consists of: steaks, crawfish etouffee, chicken fried steak, salads, burgers, fish, chicken, tuna steak, pork chops, etc.Dinner for 2 adults generally runs us $50-60 (appetizer, drinks, steak entrees). You get peanuts and rolls at the table when seated. There are tables, booths, and bar seating available. There are week day alcoholic drink specials.Service is usually okay. Generally friendly, just not always the most attentive.

The food was good. But our waiter was too busy flirting with the hostess and not focused on his job.... We received our meal before we received our salads. The only reason we got them at that point was because we brought it up to the runner who brought our dinner out.

Came in in a Tuesday night at just before 5pm. Not many people in establishment, more of sport bar/ country atmosphere. Server was polite but seemed rushed, I believe she was only one on the floor. Ordered The Duke (16 oz steak) medium well, steamed broccoli, and dinner salad. Had few bites of dinner salad and after second bite of dirt, did not finish. Broccoli was slightly over steamed but okay. Steak was perfect. Lightly seasoned and served fresh off grill. Little over priced for quantity, and no conciliation offered for the salad I could not eat which is why I can only give 3 stars.

Everything was cooked just how we wanted it. Appetizers came quick and not greasy. Service was good.

Fabulous! As always! I enjoyed the strawberry margarita also! It was a delightful dinner.
