This place is great! What started out as a local derivative of childhood comfort food has spawned to a NYC Taco institution and I'm grateful for it!The quality of food and selection of fresh toppings for my "Chicken Plato" don't go unnoticed.

Have I been living under a (Chipotle) rock? Today was my FIRST TIME here and it’s gonna be hard to keep me away. I went during a lull and the staff was still very kind. I took my time ordering the Carnitas tacos (with cheese please) and Guac.Please note that they only serve soft tacos.

Fastest. Cheapest. Most delicious. Gets you full! Perfect for work day lunches. (And if you have the ability to stay, definitely sneak in that midday Corona because it pairs perfectly!) For those trying to save up - get extra greens on the rice bowl and it could definitely be portioned for 2 meals.

Feels healthier and also the people on the line are in a good mood. It's a bit more expensive than chipotle but I'd always go here for the quality of food and service

I have been trying dos toros at multiple locations to compare it to chipotle. My consensus so far is that: dos toros’s portions were smaller and the food is fryer and less flavorful than chipotle. With that said, this is based on just three locations around the city and I understand portions can differ based on server. Food isn’t bad, but I think I prefer chipotle for its combinations of toppings and flavor profile!

love the food. the habanero sauce has kick and flavor. The service was amazing my son couldn't handle the heat and they made another one free of charge.
