I had heard about this one of a kind donut shop and I can attest to the excellent, fluffy ,hand-cut and baked Donuts here. Well worth the trip from Long Island New York. The cream fillings were quite unique . the Maple and pumpkin and caramel donuts were delicious and light. the old time favorites; sour cream and French cruller were amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. ..And the retro decor went very well in this location. I took 8 Donuts home and devoured them Within 48 hours ,they were that delicious! I have heard the coffee is not as good as the donuts but I did not order any so I cannot comment on that here. I highly recommend going by for donuts and bringing some extra home. Such a better choice and selection than the donut chains. I will definitely roll back in there at some point for more.

If you're traveling up or down I-91, don't waste time with the mediocrity that is Dunkin Donuts, go for a Dip in Springfield. The doughnuts are amazing. The coffee is good. The place has a nostalgic feel and smells like a doughnut shop should – like back when Dunkin actually baked in-house and didn't just sell factory-made sugar bread.
