Don Japanese Restaurant

Wow! Shocked at how good the food here us!!Very very highly recommended!! Best Japanese food since my time in Okinawa I’ll be back often!

DONT leave tips expecting that its for the wait staff. Unless you put it in their pockets directly they won't receive it because they make wage and are not allowed to have their tips. Delicious food though but workers definitely seem overworked and underpaid.

I live in California and have to stop here every time I'm in Greensboro because I can't find bimbimbap this good any where else! It is amazing and the service is great!

This is a neat little place just off UNCG campus that is a hidden gem. Great food hot bowls, great service. Plus serve a dollup of ice cream with a couple chocolate chips with your receipt always.

Don's has become one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Greensboro. The food is always good and the staff are warm and friendly. If you are into Japanese food I would definitely recommend this place.

Service was super speedy! I had the vegetable/tofu in an ishiyaki (stone bowl) and it was good, but not as flavorful as I would like. The place feels like an authentic izakaya (Japanese bar) and I'm basically comparing it to my favorite little Korean restaurant back in Japan where I would get a steaming bowl of bibimbap sans the meat. Great spot for date night.

Nice atmosphere, service was great food was excellent great spot for date night to try new cuisine. Just out side campus at Greensboro University. Noodles and rice bowls had amazing flavor, spot on for anyone looking for authenticity from a Japanese perspective on food.

Came here regularly when I was a student at UNCG, best Don Bowls I've ever had and super friendly staff!

As a former uncg student Don has always been one of my go to places! I love the ambiance and equally love the food ! I decided that while in Greensboro visiting I would take my boyfriend. The food as always was amazing and didn’t disappoint. I got the shrimp don and my boyfriend got the chicken teriyaki don. My only complaint is that the complimentary dessert was served to us before I was even close to being done eating which was a bummer because by the time I had finished my ice cream had melted, hopefully this is something that can be adjusted to enhance the overall experience !

Good place for japanese food. I wish there were more places like this around town. Feels like a place in Charlotte that I enjoyed visiting.
