Great view of the boats and water, Robert was very friendly and gave me a great recommendation for the swordfish. It was buttery, smooth and delicious. If you would like dessert they bring a platter out with all the desserts available for you to choose. Happy and friendly atmosphere without feeling too cramped like some other restaurants on the wharf.

As a local I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant which reminded me of San Francisco fisherman's wharf 20 years ago and in miniature. GREAT food (I had the sardines and Dungeness crab in garlic butter-delicious). Beautiful view, excellent service.

Go here all the time. Wonderful menu and attentive staff! Red king crab this week was great as was the seafood melt which I normally get for lunch. Nice harbor view and I love the chicken wire sea creatures hanging from the ceiling and walls. It inspires ideas for the industrial arts!

One of the best seafood restaurants on the Monterey coastline. I give this place a 5 star rating. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Seafood taste exceeded expectation and romantic ambiance too. The servers are friendly and engaging. We loved our dining experience.

Lively touristy restaurant on old Fishermans wharf. We had a table next to the window overlooking the marina. Wide selection of seafood, pastas, and a large selection of daily specials. I had the pasta pescadoro which is linguini with shrimp, fish, mussels, and clams in a light broth. It was delicious and the seafood was very fresh. Service was very attentive. The noise level in the restaurant is quite high.

The clam chowder was.... amazing. Really nice service too. If you like (wheat) beer, take the Monterey draft beer.

The ambiance is fantastic! I loved the view, and the interior has some great decorative elements. I didn't care for the stuffing in the Whole Roasted Branzino, and I thought the Famous Blue Cheese Iceburg Wedge was too light on bacon. However, the salad was beautiful and delicious and had plenty of Blue Cheese.

We called ahead to check the wait time and were greeted with a very friendly and reassuring response that there was no wait time! When we got to Domenico's, a very friendly hostess offered us some delicious clam chowder and took us to a table immediately! The service was phenomenal and the view was awesome (if you have the option, get a window table - it looks right out into the wharf, and it's beautifully lit at night!) We were able to order quickly and enjoyed fresh baked bread while we waited for the food. The wait time was short, and the food came out hot, fresh and exceptionally tasty! Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and we felt no rush to leave. A wonderful experience in a relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely have to come again!

Great food at this 37 year family owned restaurant. We had yummy crab cakes, mussels and clams. All fresh and family approved. The owner Sam is a great guy who teams up with tv celebrities to bring in a variety of seafoods. "Deadliest Catch". Sam and family are out in their boat still fishing.

Amazing meal out with my wife. We sat at a window and I've shared a photo of our view. Food and service are both worthy of the 5 stars.

We we're looking for some good seafood on Fisherman's wharf and flipped a coin between Old Fisherman's Grotto and Domenico's and the rest was history. This place is excellent! A must try! I had the Seafood fettuccine alfredo and it one if the best meals I've ever had. Every aspect our meal was amazing. Clam chowder might have been best I've ever had too. Pina Coladas were great as well. I imagine during the day that the views are nice. I highly recommend! It's a really nice atmosphere.

I had the fresh caught sand dabs. It was amazing after a long morning whale watching. Service was friendly with great suggestions for food, a wine pairing, and dessert. This place that only serves sustainable caught seafood in a warm welcoming environment is a must stop when visiting the fisherman's wharf in Monterey.

After being offered to try their clam chowder in front of the restaurant, theirs was the best from all the samplers being offered on the marina. The manager also gave us a free appetizer of his choice. From the options given, we chose the fried calamari and it was excellent. We also came just in time for happy hour and my whole table had the $3 margaritas. The food was in good portions and the prices are reasonable. A great time in Monterey!

Apart from the lovely location on the wharf, the food was delicious, the staff was nice and in good mood. We enjoyed every second and had a great time.
