Hands down, some of the best food I've had in months. There's a quintessential flavor from traditional Uyghur cuisine that is rarely explored in American culinary circles. Everybody is a food critic of the web, but not all the food is worthy of criticism. Dolan's food is exemplary.

Really good food, especially samsa and noodle dishes. The place is clean and bright. The portion isn't very big, we ordered 5 dishes for 3 people. We wanted to get the Polo rice dish but it was sold out. Apparently they only make 15 Polo rice everyday according to the waiter. We'll definitely return to try other things and show up early to try the rice.

We got the boneless big plate chicken, fried noodles, dumplings and lamb kabob skewers. The big plate plate chicken was definitely big, and meant to be a shared plate! It very flavourful and spicy, we absolutely loves it but might be too spicy for children or those who are not used spicy food. The fried noodles and lamb skewers were delicious! I believe the noodles are handmade so definitely a unique texture! The dumplings were very unique as well, strong cumin flavour, unlike any other East asian dumplings. Overall, can't wait to go back!

Very exotics and distinctive dishes! Full of flavors and spices. The lamb is so tender and flavorful! The Big Chicken Plate, even small order comes out in a big plate. The LARGE order is really large! It's spicy with lots of sauces. The other dishes we tried are all very good!

I think this one open recently. What I post here are very delicious. Still need to go more times to explore other items. The milk remind me of my childhood memory when my father brought back the dried milk from Inner Mongolia every summer. Nice salty milk. I wish I will have the chance to try the $468 whole lamb kebab. (p.s. the restaurant is very clean.)

I expected to be better...Lamb kabob (served in a very long skewer stick! Min 3 -skewer to order) is tender. Meat our company s tasty, but the most famous Big Plate Chicken was a let down. My friend doesn't eat spicy version, so they offered less spicy option...De-bone chicken...It was deep fried chicken mixed with sauce and potato's. Chicken was dry w/not so much of flavors what so ever. I had much better ones. Food here is not cheap.

TOP Place to enjoy original Laghman😍😋! Highly recommend! My boyfriend and I visit Dolans Uyghur Cuisine very often and everything we've gotten here is sooooo delicious! The food quality is amazing, cozy and authentic atmosphere, all dishes are traditionally made with LOVE! By the way, they serve the BEST Langhman in California! We have tried samsa, of course, laghman, dapanji, shashlyk, manty and all are so good! Also the food is halal! So really you should go and experience Uyghur tasty food and hospitality

Unique flavours! It's a fusion of Chinese and Mideastern food. So, noodles with sichaun pepper and lamb. Lots of cardamon, cumin, and other good stuff! Try the Special Tea and the Big Plate Chicken. If you have a large enough party, you can get an entire roasted lamb!

Pleasant food adventure at the newly opened uyghur restaurant Dolan's in Alhambra. Overall services was very friendly and attentive , recommendations from our waiter were all delicious. Ground beef soup was refreshing, juicy Manta dumpling, spicy yet addictive big plate chicken, and our favorite was the Samsa (baked bao). Definitely will go back to try more different dishes.

The house special tea is delicious and wonderful to just keep drinking while chatting with friends and family on a winter night. We had a kind waiter. Food arrives piping hot and steamy, but we had a mixup where we were given a beef noodle instead of vegan. It took a long time to get someone to come over (there was a rush right after we came in) and when the replacement came out, it wasn't piping hot like everything had been before. They had just picked the beef out in the kitchen and like tiny pieces of meet were still in it. 😑 When we sent that back, we could see our server advocating for us and we were given a fresh piping hot bowl of noodles but this is basically a Hindu veg worst nightmare.

My first time trying Uyghur cuisine and it was delicious. Flavorful dishes for sharing with friends. One of the dishes was a little to spicy for me to return to, but that's more of a preference. If you like trying new foods, I'd highly recommend.

Food is delicious. Small menu but perfect. Wonder place to eat.

Questions & Answers

I doubt there are any truly gluten free options since everything I had had either soy sauce or wheat ingredient. They are halal though.
