We visited this bakery twice while staying in Tanabe. Best to visit early to see the huge and lovely variety. The pastry chef is a wonderful, friendly man and the staff are awesome too. Very courteous and helpful. If only similar style bakeries in Australia were this good!

My favourite bakery in Japan! We were in Japan for a month on honeymoon and visited a lot of bakeries... D'oh was the best! Everything looked delicious and I liked how there were photos of the different suppliers for the ingredients.

According to the newspaper article at the time of opening, it was written that it was closed as soon as it sold out. So I think that the closing time may vary depending on the day.
