SO this just happened.....Todd became my favorite POC at Dogwood simply due to the fact that he was not only polite, which is a common expectation, but he was understanding and went over and beyond. Since I began working in Falls Church, I have discovered Dogwood Tavern and their Coconut Curry Salmon. Its my favorite and I recommend it to all. Nonetheless, I have only had great experiences to share about Dogwood Tavern and I haven't even had the chance to dine in yet.

Good food, interesting beers, sometimes live music. Apps are good, and they will extra crispy my tater tots without question. I've only gone for lunch and earlier meals, will have to come back later and see if it's a fun hang out with the drinkers. I see a lot of families early, which is ok. Parking is behind, ample, and easy to enter through the rear. I hear some people like going through the back door, she types with a straight face...

In a word, okay. The menu is classic American with southern influences and everything we ordered was prepared competently. Service was very good, but the location is pretty drab. Dark, musty interior and a plain patio area. I thought our meal was very overpriced. That photo of the 8 strands of asparagus? $6. ($6?!?!?????) Want a great burger? Go to Red Apron. That burger is just $10.

Went for lunch. Love the relaxed atmosphere and the food. The service was perfect, no hovering but my water glass was always full. We had the artichoke and crab dip appetizer and it was pricey but delicious. Totally spreadable, no big unwieldy pieces of artichoke and the bread was delicious. For lunch, I had the onion burger with waffle fries. The burger was cooked to perfection and was served with an onion soup type dipping sauce 😋👌. My friend had the fried chicken sandwich. The chicken breast was so large she cut it in half and took it home.

Sister restaurant of another Arlington great, Rhodeside Grill. Great food and drinks for very reasonable prices. Looking forward to trying the Thursday night raw bar specials!

Excellent bar/tavern in Falls Church, Virginia. They have live music on the weekends and always have a decent number of people at the bar! Their drinks are very good, so is the food, and their prices are very fair. Do try this bar at your convenience!

Been 7 months or so since coming here. In the neighborhood on business this early evening thinking gumbo which I know is on nearby Dogwood menu. Server said my first beer choice on beer menu was not available. Bowl that arrived was some sort of soup. When I pointed out it was not gumbo server admitted they were out of gumbo. Paid for my alternative beer selection walking across the street to Ireland’s Four Providence’s for dinner.

This is the absolute best neighborhood restaurant I've ever visited. Family friendly, great food and service for a very reasonable price.

Great spot for a drink and a sandwich. I had a burger and it was great. Beer selection and bar selection were great. They also have waffle fries and tots for those of you like me, love those items!

This review is for brunch. I really liked brunch here at Dogwood. It starts early at 10, earlier than many other spots. It's spacious. It's kid friendly. The food was okay. I'd give 3 stars for the omelet and potatoes. Not awesome, but I'd eat it again. I liked the waffles. The salmon and lox was okay. Even though the food is okay or pretty good, the value is amazing though. At $15 for all you can eat, it's probably the best deal in 10 or so miles. My sister had the fried green tomato sandwich. She said it was really good.I would definitely come back.

Dogwood tavern is a great neighborhood restaurant/bar. It is a very traditional cozy tavern that had a solid bar menu. During warmer weather they have a great patio as well as a deck above with a bar. The place is always busy, had lots of TVs but isn't too sports-focused.
