Dockside Waterfront Grill

The service and view was fantastic. We had a slight mistake with our order and they went above and beyond to correct the mistake and make sure our dining experience was great. The food was delicious, drinks were good and we will definitely be advising friends and family to dine here in the future. Thank you guys for a wonderful service.

First time there and the 4 of us enjoyed everything. Music was lovely, only waited 20 minutes to be seated and we all ordered the special Lobster Roll with french fries and cup of Lobster Bisque. Service was immediate and Dee kept asking if we needed anything :)

This is a great spot! Their food is delicious, drinks are good and you must have the key lime pie. They have live music and an overall great vibe. The wait times can be long if you get there anywhere from 5-8 pm!

Great place for dinner on the water. Kyler was fantastic and attentive throughout our meal. Made some great beer recommendations and offered his take on several menu items. My wife ordered the alaad but added grouper instead of the stamdard menu choices. I had the special blackened barramundi. Food was cooked great.

Great evening. Didn’t have to wait too long. Calamari batter was good. Coconut shrimp excellent as was the Fish n Chips. Portions were just right.

Dockside Waterfront Grill is one of our favorite restaurants in the area! Well worth a visit!We especially enjoy boating here for cocktails at sunset 🍹 🍸Mary at the bar is amazing. Cobb salad is delicious!Enjoy!

There was a party of 4 of us. We were asked to choose our own table and picked a nice table outside by the water. It was a great view next to some boat slips. Drinks were good and served in a reasonable amount of time. We each ordered sandwiches and were pleased. Their homemade chips are great. This is a Gecko’s restaurant, so count on a lot of good food and drinks. Prices were reasonable especially considering a waterfront restaurant.

Recommended by a local shopper keeper in Venice Beach. Did not disappoint. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the host/manager with a smile and super service. I told him that I wanted the best seat in the house, overlooking the bay. I was mostly joking but he darn sure got me seated in the BEST view of the water than I could have ever imagined. Thewaitress was very friendly and efficient. Food wait time during this busy Sunday afternoon was very quick. Drinks and food tasted amazing and very reasonably priced. I ordered the fresh catch of the day with corn salad and a house margarita. As I finished my meal, happy and full stomach, the manager made sure that everything was good and bid my goodby. Great experience. Definately recommend Dockside.

I stop for lunch and had the best table on the restaurant. 1st road for the unexpected beautiful dolphin 🐬 visit. Susan was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She offered me the special of the day and it was perfect.She even got me a to-go drink.

My wife and I visit Venice at least 4 times a year, and we visit Dockside Waterfront grill 4-5 times every trip along with our friend Andre. The Tuna Nachos and the Grouper Bites are absolutely awesome! Andre is a'' Long Island Iced Tea Connoisseur,'' and the absolute best Long Island he has ever had has been created by Alex. Hands down anywhere he's ever had one (or two) Alex wins.Alex and Robin are both two of the hardest working bartenders you will find anywhere, and Dockside is fortunate to have these two ladies representing their restaurant.

Absolutely delicious! We both had the fish 'n chips and it was perfect. I usually don't eat many fries, but these were REALLY GOOD and the fish was light and flakey. Sweet tea was just the right sweetness....not sickly sweet but also not needing more sugar. Cole slaw was good.... not fabulous, but good. Service was awesome and we made sure the tips reflected that, including the guy who sat us and checked on us with a huge friendly smile. Comfy chairs and comfortable temperature even though it is open to the outside... which was 92 degrees, so not sure how they pulled THAT off!!! Nice view of boats in the little marina. Happy we found this place and we'll be back!

Best place to eat..truly great delicious food!! Inside seating at bar looking out at Marina with cool breeze as outside wall is wide open to fresh air!! Can't wait to go back.. strawberry daiquiri the best !! Wait staff on top of their game... You will not be disappointed 😉

No complaints. A bit of a wait, but that's a good sign, right? Calamari was great. I ordered shrimp and scallops with Cole slaw and red skin potatoes. All were good. I'm picky about my coleslaw and It was good. Others ordered grilled grouper and I snuck a bite...yum! Blackened chicken fettuccine I'm told was also wonderful. We had a table right next to the water so we had entertainment watching the ink fish and Snook swim around, as well as admiring the boats in the marina. Nice sunset backdrop. Would most definitely return.

Excellent Waterfront Grill & Bar they have an awesome little band playing with outdoor seating and indoor sitting there wasn't too bad of a wait even though the place was packed . Our waitress Vicky was phenomenal absolutely an asset to this establishment and believe me it's because of waitresses like her and her in particular that this establishment does as well as it does. The food was fantastic I had the salmon BLT my gosh it was delicious others in my group had fish and chips that they said was delicious ,lobster roll with lobster bisque , and tuna dinner with vegetable and potato and salad and they each and everyone said they were absolutely fantastic. We wanted for nothing . Like I said because our waitress was phenomenal . Prices were normal, not too bad . I would highly recommend everyone come visit this location at least once you'll be glad you did and you'll be back again again and again and again

We enjoyed both the view and the good food. The service was friendly and attentive. The cosy atmosphere lends itself to conversation, while the large bar area is higher energy. There is ample parking but, in season, be prepared to wait for a table.
