Met up with friends for a road tour of coastal Maine after a conference in Boston. Stopped at Dockside for a late lunch because of the ambiance and the waterfront views. Surprise, not a tourist trap. Awesome fresh seafood and great service. Michelle our bartender was a true professional. Not only did she superbly craft every stupid drink my party thew her way, she did it with a smile and genuine appreciation while maintaining service to other tables. Great experience, be back next year.

Cheap, but not very good. We had to deal with a lot of flies because the patio door was open. Food was meh at best. Crab cakes tasted like butter. Which is fine if you want butter cakes.

Pretty spot, adequate service, small overpriced portions. Will not go back, most disappointing meal I've had in Maine.

When we visit York Harbor we try and eat at the Dockside. This trip, we ate there, stayed at the Quarters and ate on the Deck as well. Great place with great food (love the drunken lobster). The waiter was a bit quiet so hard to hear with the full room and service a touch slow. We used an app to book the dinner reservation but I failed to ask for a porch table so we were seated inside at a table by the window.

Fine dining in a great location at reasonable prices. Upscale food in a casual atmosphere. What's not to like?

If you want a feast this should be your first stop. If nothing else every happens while you are visiting this restaurant you will remember the amount of food considered a single serving. My next visit I will order one entree for 2 people . The food was served hot in a timely manner. Each course was served on time as the table required. There were never clean and dirty plates on the table at the same time. It's evidence of a well trained and attentive staff. I found the food to be tasty flavorful and well prepared . The restaurant was the kind of place the the average foodie would plan their trip around and at the end of night the bill was not unreasonable. I would return and I suggest that you add this place to your must see list while in the area. Enjoy your visit.

It was a great place to stay. My nephew and niece in law had their wedding renewal there. I loved the place. The views from our room were spectacular! ! I highly recommend tg Rd place.

Clam chowder's consistency was too watery for traditional New England style. Swordfish was a bit overcooked, and topped with a citrus salad that didn't pair too well. Steamed mussel marinara was also a bit watery, and the mussels were definitely on the small side. Service was a bit slow too. We sat down on a Sunday evening at 7:05 pm. Entrees finally arrived at 8:07 pm. I would have given 2.5 stars if I could but given that the shrimp linguine was good, and the views were nice, that bumped it up to three stars.
