Cool vibe

This coffee shop offers the most unique beverages I've ever seen in a cafe. Each drink is carefully designed and crafted. We can vouch for The Dualist, a latte from the standard menu basd on the classic brandy old-fashioned, and the Holy Pin, a limited-time drink based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Part of the menu is constantly changing, meaning you can have a new experience every time you go. I will always stop here when I'm in Door County!

Coolest coffee shop in the world. Or that I've been to at least! Creativity that your eyes, nose and taste buds get to experience!

When your not sure what to order, since you want to try everything, ask Ryan. No matter what spin he puts on what 'basic' drink you think you want, he expands on the bounds of an amazing cup of anything. The flavor profiles of all ingredients in his drinks come through for an unreal experience. And, when your not sure about something you want to try and have never tried before, trust him to make it the absolute best for you to enjoy while listening to some ridiculously good music on amazingly good speakers while enjoying the ambience.

The boys at Discourse are wonderful! Their coffee is truly more than just coffee. It's magic!!! Their unique menu made us come back every single day of our stay to try something new :)

Awesome, Ryan and his staff are the best. So friendly and fun to talk to. All the questions we asked and they still had more to add. The experience we had was great. Two days in a row we stopped in, Sunday and Monday. If they were open every day, we would stop in first thing everyday of the week. It was nice to start each day off on our vacation at Discourse. This is a must see place if you love coffee. What they do and the passion of the making of the drinks. We will miss you and see you first thing on our next vacation in Door County.

This is Ryan's new thing. Though he will be missed at Bier Zot, the same energy and creativity he brought there will be in full force here.I'm a simple black coffee guy. His selection of beans and meticulous methods to brew made an outstanding cup of coffee. I have NEVER had a cup of coffee with that many complex and delicate flavors all coming through.Ryan and Chris are doing some amazing things, pushing coffee to the edge of performance art.The atmosphere is great and it is a nice place to sit, enjoy some music playing from a turntable (of course) and enjoy a truly unique coffee experience.

The cortado was excellent. The latte was outstanding. The crazy tea infused coffee drink they made for me was interesting, and fun to try. The owner LOVES to talk coffee, and has a passion that cannot be matched. He makes his espresso drinks "old school" with a manual machine. Now THAT'S a serious barista.

Best Latte I have ever had! Unique coffee making techniques, couldn't make up my mind on what to pick. The batista "Ryan" was amazing explaining all options. I still couldn't decide, he suggested to surprise me, and it was the best latte I have ever had! What a unique and creative recipe that should definitely be award winning!
