Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

Great BBQ! I’ve been to several Dino location and this one has a great setting and meets the mark. All of their meats are great and their sides are equally as good. Service was good and there’s plenty of nearby parking.

Our food was divine❣️ Our waiter,Nicholas was EXCELLENT!!! (My mother and grandmother were servers in very high end, fine restaurants, and he is Amazing!) Also, the band was OUTSTANDING ❣️ The bartenders are really cool, yet efficient and professional, as well as management. I really enjoyed everything about our visit there❣️ Dinosaur BBQ is not exactly cheap, or affordable, however, the food, experience, the crowd, the staff and the entertainment are so awesome, I never mind spending money there, in retrospect, it's really worth it! I am a fan, and I highly recommend you ask for Nicholas, he's amazing, personable, and even makes his own lotions, candles, and has some business cards and samples. He's definitely a damn good server, very efficient, attentive, quick, yet personable and sweet. Best server I've had in a long time... And no one has impressed me since!

Good BBQ place. Went there for birthday dinner with family. Got free birthday dessert. Reasonably priced. Friendly staffs. Great service. Environment is good. Tasted same as the original from Rochester NY. Place is bigger and offer a little more parking than the original one. Will come again. Good job!👍👍

The service I've had here has always been good, and the take-out is efficient and easy. The sides are really good, and I'm a big fan of the cornbread. The barbecue is fine but inconsistent. Sometimes it's really good, but other times there isn't a strong smoke ring or you can tell they've done a poor job trimming cuts, etc. It typically does enough to quell my nostalgia for Texas and KC barbecue, which is all I'm really looking for.

I visited in December and will need to go back in summer to experience the waterside dining areas of downtown Troy's Dinosaur BBQ, a New York staple. If you've been to other locations (there aren't many) then you shouldn't notice any difference in the food recipes (at least I didn't). I enjoy their chicken wings the best (and I'm not a chicken lover) so I made sure to get those. I love their greens as sides. Their Manhattan cocktail exceeded my expectations. The band was not loud and I was able to have conversations. My server was very good. Maybe best of all my hotel was on the next corner, guaranteeing my visit here. I only left off a 5th star because it's gotta be even better in the summer, even if I only have time for a beer and apps I will go back.

Fantastic! Food is great if you're looking for some great BBQ. I go there often and not once have I received a bad meal or poor service. I will say they can get very busy on weekends during the dinner rush but that's to be expected. You can also buy a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce if wish. I've tried just about everything on the menu and one of my favorites are their chicken wings. Go try them.

One of my favorite places to eat. Brisket, ribs and Mac and cheese are very delicious. Finger licking good! I was once a fan of the potato salad but it isn’t quite what it use to be. Love eating outside during the summer nights. Waiters and waitresses are always amazing so they still get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is the best Bar-B-Que I have ever had!!! There is a wide selection of food but I highly suggest the platter which you can choose either 2 or 3 different meats along with 2 sides plus cornbread. The platter is huge and it is very fair priced with what you get. The staff is friendly and ask them for any suggestions and you will not be let down. Overall Dino's has great food, great service, great atmosphere, and all in all an amazing place to eat at!!!

It was highly recommended and it lived up to expectations. I've spent enough time in Texas to know what real barbecue is, and this place is the real thing. I got the triple meat combo and the key lime pie and I left stuffed. The brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs were all awesome. Even the sides were top notch.

Their Salmon dish is good and my sisters love the barbecue, that cornbread they have is 😋 delicious!

Got lucky coming here on a not busy night. The food is very good. The service was good as well. Probably one of the best restaurants in Troy.

Went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with a party of six. We were seated immediately and waited on promptly. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The brisket melts in your mouth and the ribs fall off the bone. Very satisfied with this experience.

We ordered to plates and some sides....TERRIBLE......When we got our food....everything was cold....did not taste good.....there certainly will NOT be another trip to dinosaur bar-b-que... I'll go to the pigpit

We stopped here on our way to Vermont for a ski trip on a Friday night. The place was busy, luckily we called earlier to reserve and that made it easy but people were waiting.Food was good! Especially the brisket and pork, both options were very good. The side selection was vast.
