Always a pleasure when I can treat myself to an authentic roast pork with broccoli rabe sandwich at this famous outpost. Grateful my friend and I were able to snag two spots at the counter on a busy Saturday afternoon. Thinking about that sandwich is making me want another right now!

Let’s break this awesome sandwich down.The rolls are great.Broccoli rabe is really tasty. The meat and cooked perfectly. Tender and delicious. Do not miss this spot in the reading terminal market. Warning the line can get pretty long, but they are quick!

Roast pork sandwich with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe - one of the best sandwiches in philadelphia. The combination of the roast pork, sharp provolone and broccoli rabe is great.The roast pork was soft, tender and juicy.Broccoli rabe was very green and fresh.I’ve been here many times and this was the only time I felt the bread wasn’t as fresh and soft. It seemed like day old bread, which is very unlike my past visits....hence the minus one star.There’s usually a line, but the line moves fairly quickly.Would certainly still come back...as usual
