Yum yum YUM! I've been waiting to try this place and I waited too long! Their food is so delicious!!! I really appreciated the staff and how friendly and knowledgeable they were. From the hostess to the bar tenders, everything went smoothly. The bao were amazing, noodles delectable and the fried rice was perfect! Definitely don't wait, go NOW!

Great dumplings, that are very tasty. Ambiance is very nice and elegant. A bit noisy, though. Service was great. Make sure you make a reservation since wait times can be long. But it's worth it.

I cannot recommend enough, the pork soup dumplings are to die for, the braised beef noodle soup is delicious, and the stir fry noodles are big chewy savory heaven. Come hungry and bring friends.

Not pictured here, but highly recommend the sautéed Taiwanese cabbage with garlic (it’s vegan) that was my absolute favorite thing. That and the bar makes really great cocktails. Vegan bun and dumplings unfortunately had the same exact filling which was so-so, though it did serve as a great base for the vinegar and soy sauce condiments that were on the table. When supplemented with the condiments both bun and dumplings are really good, but not so much on their own. The place was absolutely packed when I went. The vibe was great, the food presentation is A+.

omg. Didn’t expect this from Din Tai Feng... they were totally not ready to operate during Covid... I made order on their website and pick up time was set at 1pm. I‘ve come and now is 3:30pm and my order is still not ready! And they even don’t have estimated time for how long more I should wait! It's so frustrating... and here is whole crowd waiting for their food

Is the first time I come here, but it was a good experience overall, dishes selection were very wide and the taste of the food it's really good. Service was great, Ana was an excellent host yesterday's night. I highly recommend this place to people who want to try different options and to visit a great place.

Their food is simple, not too expensive, and just delicious every time. You'll definitely want to try for reservations online if you're coming during a busier time though. They always fill up fast.Service was great, Ana was an excellent host yesterday's night. I highly recommend this place to people who want to try different options and to visit a great place.

This place is amazing! The food has such great flavor, and I like how the food comes out in waves, not all at once like other places. It hit the spot.

In all honesty i didn’t even eat my food I ordered for takeout after the person that takes phone orders treated my wife very unprofessional (i was thinking its COVID times everyone is stressed out) and then me being treated equally bad. I know its stupid to throw away food you paid for but after my experience i really don’t want to have anything with this place.

Spare yourself and stay away during covid. I placed an online order the day before for 12:15, showed up at 12, got my food at 1:45 - they don't have anywhere near the capacity to fulfill the volume of orders they're getting. They should be shut down for letting 50+ angry people just standing around on the sidewalk, blocking traffic, clearly not following health guidelines. Dumplings are good (hence the 2 stars), been here plenty of times, but trust me not that good, and expensive to boot - go try them some other time.

Really great dumplings and food selection in general! Staff was fast, friendly, and polite! Really cool that they let you see how the dumplings are made too!

Great place for dumpling. Food taste great. Yes the waiting time is long. But it worth it. You can leave your phone number and they will text you when to come back, plus you are at a mall, which you can walk around and come back when they text you. Service and food come out really fast not much wait on that. Price is fair not to high and good quality food.

Outstanding food, our first time eating here was fantastic. The food was prepared and brought to us in a timely and professional manner. There was no wait for us to get in to lunch. Every thing was so good we came back for dinner again that night told and had the same experience!

Din Tai Fung is an excellent upscale dim sum style experience. Highly recommended if you are in the area. Great for families too. This is connected to the Americana at Brand which itself is an excellent shopping experience.

Questions & Answers

Not that I am aware of. Traditional dumplings are made with wheat flour and many of their dishes contain soy sauce which is also wheat-based. They do have poached or wokked vegetables, pork chops, chicken and beef soups, and poached chicken dishes. Just tell your server that you want no soy sauce or oyster sauce.

Din Tai Fung is not a dim sum spot, it is a dumpling house. You won't receive the small plate/dish as they serve at dim sum locations.

They have outdoor dining with prior reservations

Yes, they do use it in the soy sauce and some items they marinate they items with. I'd say keep away unfortunately.

Depends on the day, but my recommendation is to always expect a minimum of a half hour wait time

Solo or with friends. Solo, I can spend $15~$50 depending on how greedy I'm feeling... ? ? I think I posted photos of the menu. It's definitely a must do. Make sure you get the soup filled dumplings. It's unique and really fun. And it's a Taiwanese specialty... Please chi the thumbs up if this helped you so I know! ??

It was originated in Taiwan!
