I didn't catch our waitress' name, but she had a ton of tables and was amazing. Adult food portions were all large and many of us couldn't finish our plates. I got the loaded baked potato and it filled the whole plate and was cooked perfectly. The kids plates were too small for anyone over 5 even though the menu was 12 and under. The bartender didn't know a couple of basic drinks, but still attempted them with some general fiance and they were good. I wouldn't recommend the fish tacos, but the pulled pork and burnt ends were the crowd favorite.

Barbecue was an epic failure. The sausage was boiled not barbecued. The brisket was dry and didn’t have a a smoke ring. The leg quarter was yellow. The burnt ends didn’t have and flavor. I refused to try the pulled pork. Cold Mac n cheese don’t do it for me. Stop Dillion’s. Please stop, you’re embarrassing yourself.

The harbor was great. Great site seen. Need to pay 6.00 to get in then pay to ride a golf cart to the marina but is by tips. Dillon's restaurant was good. Had the taco salad and it was good. Waitress was great even thou they are short staff.

Dillon's Bayou on the pier at Pleasant Lake is a great place to have lunch or dinner if you're at the lake. The place specializes in pulled pork, brisket and lots of other BBQ dishes. They also have an ample selection of bottled and craft beers on tap from both local and out of state breweries. For non members, the parking is off site and a 5 person golf cart shuttles you to the site of the restaurant at no charge. Access to the state park area is $6 per carload. Our group of four had a great outing at this restaurant.

I'm so disappointed in this place. We got seated and the server never came back. We enquired with two servers when we would get served but they said they would find out and they never came back. After at least 30 minutes waiting we left and went elsewhere. It's a beautiful location but unfortunately couldn't tell you if the food was good.

The place itself is OK... BUT its large and confusing. None of the docks or boat slips are easily marked, and its busy in there with lots of people... They have marked areas where large golf carts will transport you to the dock, but they only seat 6 including the driver, and they expect a tip for literally a 2 minute trip. It takes less time to just walk down than waiting for one of them to show up. I waited for 20 minutes and it only took me 10 to walk back to the car. One plus.... If your a veteran, show your ID at the gate. They let me in for free because I happened to be wearing my Veteran hat.

This is definitely a step up from their old restaurant at Lake Pleasant. We drove there from Surprise because the couple we went with his never been to Lake Pleasant. So it was worth the $7 per car entry to the park. This must be paid even if you're just going there for lunch. The food was fine, but nothing special. The prices were high because of its location; which was to be expected. The atmosphere is sports bar rustic. They have a stage for a band and a dance floor. They have more TVs that I could count playing sports. The staff was very friendly and our food arrived quickly. If I was staying at the lake or just out on the boat for the day I probably would go back. I doubt we will make the trip from Surprise again just to eat lunch there.

Beware dining at Dillon's. The sea maids have been spotted flipping and flopping around on the docks. These are no mermaids. These half women half fish can shoot lasers from their eyes. Make sure you bring a mirror so you can reflect their lasers back. That is the only way to protect yourself.

My 5 stars are all for the jumbo potato! It was amazing. I got mine with burnt ends. Beer selection, bar, service were all good too. If I'm back at pleasant harbor I'll stop by again!

I don't know if they could tell that we were a bit cautious, the activities were in full force with lots of people but we were the only two wearing a mask. We asked to sit outside but they were able to see this inside in a corner that was away from other people with an amazing view! I had a taco salad my husband had a chicken club salad. We enjoyed our server very much and I'm sorry that we cannot remember his name. Jax? Jason? Remember to go to the shuttle parking area for a ride to the restaurant. Don't try to drive all the way down as you will be turned around. But the shuttle is quite fine.
