The best cannoli in Ottawa! I don’t want to name competitors, but I’ve tried them all. I come here probably two times within a three week period, and it’s always great.In addition to their quality products, the family-run business offers an authentic and quality feeling to the visit. The authenticity of signature sandwiches and fresh pasta are enhanced with the loving family that runs it. When asking for a vegetarian pasta, the staff literally called to someone in the back named MARIO haha. Paulo is so nice, and is a charming 60 year old sweetheart! They only accept cash but have an ATM in the back. Be sure to stop by for lunch, early dinner, to pick up impressive pastries (that are cheaper and better than other competitors), or other goods!

I have a friend that moved to Ottawa three years ago for work and have been there a few times. About a year and a half ago I found Di Rienzo's and what a find. Now whenever I'm in Ottawa I have to stop in for at least a sandwich, one of the best I've tried. You just pick walk in, pick any bun you want, take it to the counter and they'll make you a sandwich. The meats and toppings are fresh and taste great.

I felt that the much renowned sandwich was a but underwhelming. Price are about the same as La Bottega in the market but are a bit bigger in size. The people there are extra friendly
