Family owned , Italian grocery store with authentic cheeses, cured meets, home made marinara sauce, biscotti, and porcini mushrooms. Those are just a small portion of the assortment . Coming here is a trance like experience , overwhelmed with joy , I can savor true Italian cuisine at its best. Some of the big restaurant names in the city get their supply from here too. A well kept secret with a deli and a sandwich shop , you might want to visit and buy real cheese , the truffle and the pecorino Romano - real stuff!

One of New York’s oldest and best salumeria/cheese shops. The Prosciutto is like silk and the mozzarella is super fresh. One of this city’s institutions. I’ve been coming here for 20 years and will continue to shop here.

Even though Chinatown has expanded and even saturated the area, this is an old school little Italy staple (often for the Chinatown community as well). You will have difficulty in pursuing a better place for Italian olive oils, balsamic vinegar, cured meats and cheese. In addition, their selection of dry goods is outstanding. The service here is personalized as if no other customers are eagerly waiting for their number to be called. This is definitely the best Italian markets in nyc.

Yes, they are for all customers because they have so many!

Dipalos is not really expensive for the quality that you ate getting. If you bring between $25 - $50 that shpuld load you up for at least a month

no they prefer if you call early the same day you're picking up. i call around 9:30 for a pickup around 2:00pm. that way they are open for 1/2hr. when i call and they have plenty of time to fill out the order. also i do not wander around picking up things at the last minute(even though i always see things i would like) so they don't have to adjust my bill and packages. i am also careful not to ask for my order until i see one of the counterpeople finishing up with a customer.
