Bourbon chicken w/ black beans and rice Flavourful, would’ve given it 5 starts however for the food portions are very small for the price.

World-class beignets are finally here in Riverside! Dhat Creole Grill, located inside the Riverside Food Lab, is connected to the exceptional restaurant Dhat Island in Redlands, California. They are equally worth a visit for the delicious Caribbean Fusion cuisine. Their food will transport your senses to the Caribbean and make you feel right at home. Dhat Chicken with the red beans and rice is my personal favorite. Here the beignets can also be purchased at a separate window/counter behind the main counter if you only want dessert. With or without the dipping sauces, these are wonderful. The owners have a beautiful aesthetic in their decor here and in Redlands. Either is a place for a special date, for sure!

I'm all about their beignets. Best since I was in New Orleans. Beat Downtown Disney. I come here often just for the beignets.

Amazing, amazing beignet!!! I went to New Orleans and had them there at Cafe du Monde for the first time recently and was worried about finding anything as good on the west coast, much less in Riverside. Stumbled on Dhat Creole Grill checking out the Food Lab and oh my God, these are better than Cafe du Monde. And the staff is super friendly too. Thank you, thank you for setting up in Riverside, can't recommend this place enough!! :)

Visited on a Thursday. The service was very welcoming and sociable. It has a good atmosphere.

I enjoyed the Jamaican beef patties. I want to try the jerk chicken next. The beignets were delicious. Customer service was excellent and I didn't wait too long for my food.

Cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. I will be back with my relatives. The place has a good feel to it.

Mediocre Jerk Chicken served in smallest portions imaginable. (Literally 1.5 cups of each entree. Yes, I measured.) It's a fast food chain of sorts so I guess I shouldn't have expected as much of a kick. The desserts are ok

Grabbed some Beignets on our way out and these were the best Beignets I've had outside France! I'm definitely coming back to get some more and also try some of the other food they have to offer.

I was underwhelmed. Meat pies and beignets are the best items, they are excellent in fact. The rest of the food is just okay. It's not horrible, but it leaves something to be desired. If you have the word Creole in your name your patrons are going to expect depth of flavor more peppa, fire, spice, more heat more flava. The textures are off everything was too soft, soggy,too wet, you need some crunch. On the customer service side they need staff that understand the menu and the options/ appropriate pairings/ combinations. The wait staff don't really seem that invested or knowledgeable/maybe more training is appropriate. I will definitely come back to see how this place evolves.

We are here for beignets and they are good! That guys was friendly. Place is clean.

visited on a thursday. the staff was very friendly and kind. the bill was average for the menu. similar to a place in denver i liked.

I was surprised to see a Creole eatery in the Food Lab, but it was the first restaurant I actually tried when I first came here. Once I saw the beignetes on the menu had to have them. They are so delicious, but I got to warn you don't wear black or try to breath while eating them or your going to have a mess are your hands, coat, tie,...etc. Well worth it though. Oh and, try the empenadas if the have any theft. Get either the meat or meatless. Both are good. C'est Si Bon!

Service was sow and disorganized. I ordered the shrimp and grits and a catfish bowl. It seems like they only prepared the grits dish and forgot about my catfish. Waited 7 mins for grits and then another 7 for the catfish. I ordered beignets while I waited. They were decent. Shrimp was soggy but the catfish was good.
