Good portions, lots of variety

Rip-off. The cashiers constantly short your change. Been going there for about 6 months, and shorted me 5 times in both Credit Card and Cash. First few times could give the benefit of doubt, but happening more and more often. Its the same cashier each time. Be careful and count your change and check your credit card.

What a great deli with incredible soups.

Wonderful soup, sandwich and salad options?

used to go there for my lunch everyday. Good selection of foods are available from panini to salad. Their clamchowder soup is great.

Rudest staff ever look at the faces

Extremely rude staff and mediocre food. They did not even bother to act like I was a valued customer and did not once apologize about not having every meal I chose from the menu. In the end, I had to make up a very bland sandwich (with no list for bread, cheese, or items I could put on my sandwich). Instead of apologizing, they kept trying to tell me what to order and getting frustrated about me not knowing what I wanted on my sandwich. I do not AT ALL recommend this place: they are clearly just after your money (don't even have a water fountain/dispenser) and don't even do a good job at that!!!

Soups, Salads and Sandwiches - great food!

Great lunch place but packed! You kinda feel rushed there so you gotta be a regular and already know what you want. Staff is not extremely friendly and is just there to get everyone out ASAP. The food is really good though and the prices are ok.

Devon & Blakely has 18+ soups offered each day, along with build-your-own salads. Everything on the menu is pricey (i.e. a large bowl of soup for $6+).No matter what time of day I go, it seems to always be busy. This location has a weird flow to it, because you have to walk to the back of the store through other customers in order to start ordering.Honestly, the staff was rude. They seemed impatient and were short with me because I asked a question here and there. It's hard to understand what the staffers are saying at times too.Overall, if you want to get out of your comfort zone and eat a soup that isn't a basic chicken noodle or you want to be overly picky with your salad, this is the place for you.

This was a decent place with cafeteria style fresh food for relatively cheap near all the tourist sites. I had a yummy chicken caesar salad with a very helpful chef fixing it.

Unethical. The crab sandwich has very little crab inside. So little it doesn't taste like crab. Basically, it is a rip-off. I also tested the chicken milanese sandwich. The milanese is fried with the chicken skin and whatever piece of fat the chicken comes with. Who cooks a milanese like that? Also, tasteless. Stay away. There many food options around.

This review is for the Pennsylvania, N.W. location, not F Street...sorry...BEST SOUP ON PLANET EARTH...and the cornbread...YUM...sorry about the photo but it was so good I didn't have time to take a pic...just sayin' ;o) LOL!!
