Richard makes the best bagels ever! Love this Detroit Bagel! 2 generations faithful to him.

Selection and toppings have seemed to diminish in the past few months. The bagels are always fresh, but the toppings are skimpy at times. Sometimes it seems like the ones in front of the display are just for show, as what ends up in the bag leaves you wondering what happened. A bit disappointing lately.

I went to school at Clarenceville High School and we had auto shop 3 hour block and Mr. Frid our shop teacher would let us go to go there as long as we got him a coffee! I miss those times and I love Mr. Frid for teaching me so much. I imagine that he has gone to Heaven by now.

Get em hot in the early morning hours everything made fresh in house. Great variety of spreads as well.

I lived in Livonia for my childhood and young adult life, and the Detroit Bagel factory was often visited by myself and friends. Now 30 years later whenever I travel back to Michigan from Georgia I make a habit to stop and get a Detroit Bagel Factory bagel with cream cheese.In all the world travels never found a replacement.

After too many years driving by and saying "I should really try that place" I finally stopped in. I went with an egg and cheese sandwich on an asiago bagel. This was one of the freshest bagels I've ever had, and it was a perfect mix of crunchy outside and chewy inside. I had some trouble following the pricing, but ultimately it wasn't too expensive and the sandwich was delicious, so I'm happy! I'll be back to try more bagels for sure!

Best bagels anywhere!. Been buying here for over 30 years, still on my short list of places to stop by when in town. If you want soft bready lame bagels then Panera is your place, but if you want a real bagel then this is your destination.
