Delicious food and great atmosphere right on Bourbon street. I had chicken and waffles for the first time. A nice spot to try!

The best oysters I've ever eaten, coming from someone who usually isn't a big fan. Extremely fresh, and great deals especially during happy hour! Looking forward to going again when I return to New Orleans

We dropped by to check out the oyster bar.. Both the raw and grilled oysters were amazing! Tasted super fresh and we could see the cook shucking them from behind the bar. The peel and eat shrimp from the oyster bar menu were ginormous and totally worth the price 😋

I've been told that Desire is the best place to eat on Bourbon Street, and it's certainly solid. You can get many cajun staples and, of course, oysters. We got a couple plates to share, and everything was good, but not really special. If you're walking around the Quarter, it's a fine enough place to eat, but New Orleans is the food capital of America and there are plenty of more memorable dining experiences.

Cris and Sav are awesome! Just moved to New Orleans and have been coming there a few months now. Always fresh at the bar. They even steam me Oysters without the butter!! Yum. They really know quality food and service!

Great place to eat local food. Hostess are good. The wait staff are amazing, very friendly and have great knowledge on New Orleans information. The oyster dishes are amazing, I would definitely recommend! Beautiful dining area, drinks are great. Food is excellent!

The chargrilled oysters. OMG!!! This place was a random stop on Bourbon St. because I was hungry. I had the alligator and chargrilled oysters. I went back the next day and will go back every visit to NOLA!

A bit pricey, but food was tasty with generous portions. Wait staff was attentive. They serve one of the best hurricanes on Bourbon.

We stumbled onto this place walking around and glad we did. Our server was very polite and punctual. She steered me towards a larger bottle of root beer which was cheaper, in addition to getting us water very promptly but also waiting a reasonable amount of time for us to look over the menus. Our orders were spot on, and the food was excellent. The smoked 1/2 chicken with the sweet potato gnocchi and braised greens was an excellent combination, and very filling. Would eat here again.

Omg! This place is awsome.

We made it just in time for the 3 - 6pm (Monday to Friday) happy hour, so loaded up on a dozen raw and a dozen chargrilled oysters for $1 each (ex tax and tip). Then helped ourselves to a great house wine and local beer ($5 and $4 respectively). We had a sumptuous crab Mac and cheese and chicken waffles, and was too satiated to walk afterwards! Why aren't more people eating here?

Dinner was absolutely delicious, & quick. Service was impeccable by Kiki! Restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes from red beans & rice, Cajun empanadas, shrimp and Grits, gumbo, jambalaya, and catfish!!- all of the items on the menu are fresh and the desserts are cooked in house!! 😋

The food was delicious. Everything we had was wonderful. The portions were generous. Service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely visit again!

We loved this restaurant! The bloody Cajun Mary was Excellent! We all loved our meals. The waffles and fried chicken plate is Aaaammmmmaaaaazing!!!! It could feed 2 people! It’s a generous portion. I will go back for sure, next time in New Orleans!!! 💜💚💛
