Desi Ruchulu

My husband and I have tried every Indian restaurant in the Ann Arbor area, and none of them have come close to the quality, taste, and MASSIVE amount of options at Desi. We have gotten takeout from here 5 or 6 times now and everything we have tried has blown us away. The chicken is tender, the curries are deep and complex, samosas and idli with their accompanied chutneys are *chef's kiss*. The spice level is higher than most other Indian places, so if you usually get a medium spice then go for a mild at Desi. The only down side is the wait time. Plan for it to be 45-60 minutes for a takeout order. You will not be disappointed though!

It’s a cool place with The Best - Masala Dosa. My Friends loved the Pulkas with the Dal Tadka. Excellent and Tasty SouthIndian food ❤️

The food was delicious. Everything was made super fresh. The rice dishes and biriyanis were very well flavored. Medium spicy is actually medium spicy here, so order appropriately! North indian dishes (curries) were on the sweeter side. Highly recommend the food. Be prepared to wait for the good quality!
