Dera Tandoori

The lunch buffet has a nice variety: usually 3 rice dishes, tandoori chicken, several meat and veggie dishes. I'm partial to the curry goat and the veggie saag. For a dollar more you can get naan. They have a condiment bar full of sauces including yogurt/cucumber and salad if your into that. I'm not really into the Indian dessert, but there if you want to try it. I used to eat Indian cuisine once every few years. I've been to this buffet twice in six months. I've also been to the Indian buffet in Santa Clarita rated one of the best buffets. Let me tell you, this one is better, except for the naan.

The best indian meal I've had away from home. I got a full thali togo. The food was hot and delicious and more than enough for one person! I'll prolly eat the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Good Indian food, friendly staff and good service. We reached the restaurant 15 minutes before its closing time. We were not only served food but were at no time pressurized to hurry up and leave. Which was awesome!The interior is balanced with Indian antiques and modern touches and doesn't feel overdone at all.

Great Indian food! Normally go for their lunch buffet and it is delicious! Tandoori, curry, tika masala etc., ALL delicious! 5-6 chicken dishes, goat, veggie dishes along with the Naan..hmmm....good!

Great variety of chicken dishes. If you stay away from fried appetizers it’s a good experience. Tea or coffee is extra

Recently moved to Porter Ranch, used to go to an amazing Indian restaurant in Sherman Oaks. This place is expensive and the food is bland, bland, bland!... Ordered online, all the food had no Indian spice or any flavor what so ever. So upsetting none of us could eat it.

2nd time here. Great buffet and orderable menu is good too.

Went for dinner. Food is good but did not come as spicy as we ordered. The hostess quickly took back to kitchen and spiced it up. Tasted much better. Staff is ok - attentive enough. My favorite is lamb saag which is very good with garlic naan. I like the Buffet, which is at lunch , best. Especially the rice pudding for dessert. I would give 3.5 stars overall.

Food and service were great. Our waiter was very attentive and helped us select just the right dishes and amount of food for our small group. Every dish was perfect. Highly recommended.

I love this spot! They offer first-cleass meals, their menu is rich, The chef in that restaurant is a specialist, I enjoy a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high class, the service towards the clients is nice. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend this place.

Decent food, took forever to prepare, I got home and was missing items. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. .... Okay so I went back, my in house experience was much better.
