The food is amazing!! We ordered eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles and two special pancakes. The amount of food on the plate is huge!! We waited outside for 15 minutes for a table which was well worth the wait considering how good the food was.

Visited last week and received subpar service. We popped in for a late breakfast. My husband asked if he would be able to get a milkshake and we were told that she would have to check the machine to see if it was ready and then never told us whether it was or wasn’t. Also I ordered a side of home fries with my meal and she didn’t bring them with the food, and she gave me a dirty look when I asked for them. It’s disappointing as we have been here before and had great food and service but after our recent trip we probably won’t be back.

Amazing. I honestly have no criticisms at all. Best chicken and waffles I ever ate.

An excellent diner in the heart of the Strip District. Lots of breakfast and lunch options, and very good service. I ordered the Californian omelet, and it was probably the best omelet I've ever ordered. The only downside was the long line to get inside the building, but it's worth it. Do not miss your chance to visit this diner.

The Strip District is the OG, but the one in Robinson isn't bad either. Love going here for traditional style diner breakfast. The portions are huge and the price is fair. The one in the Strip was cash only so make sure you have. If not, there is usually an ATM around to grab money around the block.

This is a terrific old-school diner serving mostly traditional fare along with some more innovative items. The prices are reasonable and the portions are substantial. The staff is friendly and efficient. While a line forms outside during the busy weekends, don't be discouraged as it moves along fairly quickly.Yes, the place is definitely scruffy, but it still has a great, classic diner vibe. By the way, this diner was used in the Tom Cruise film "Jack Reacher."My only complaints are the short hours and the use of inferior products such as pancake syrup instead of real maple syrup. I would definitely return in warmer weather or when they're less busy.

The food was amazing, but we waited for our food forever, and even though other people had ordered the same amount of food that we had, they came in later than us and got their food before us.

I hate, hate, hate waiting in line. I waited about a half hour in blazing heat yesterday, and it was well worth it. Followed recommendations and had their breakfast sandwich. Fantastic. My better half liked hers as well. Sufficiently sassy waitress. Not the best service ever but you are here for good food in huge portions for cheap prices.

Pancakes are as big as the plate. Wedding soup is delicious. It has been perfect everytime we have gone.

The very best chicken and waffles around!

The place has a unique charm. It is located in the strip area of Pittsburgh. Parking can be challenging but free street parking on Sunday is available. There are paid parking lots that charge $10. This place only accepts cash and there are two atm machines nearby. My wife and I bought their famous sausage breakfast burrito and their signature break fast meal. Very filling that we could not finish. Sitting and table space is limited on busy mornings so there can be a wait at the door.

Great food and comfortable atmosphere. The omelettes are HUGE and they aren't shy about loading them up with the good stuff! I can't say it's my favorite Pittsburgh diner because there are so many good one but I'll put it solidly in the top 5.

Omg 😍 just looking at this pic of my own food is making me so hungry 🤪 DeLuca's is a delicious old fashioned diner with some very interesting and unique menu options. Quite a gem in our strip district here in the Burgh!..They got the coffee flowing and the servers are friendly...love this place!
