This place is a MUST visit on your trip to Savannah! I live downtown, and eat lunch here at least twice a week. The food is spectacular, the service is great, and oh yeah, Forrest Gump was filmed here! The entire staff is so personable! As soon as you walk in, Ms Elnora greets you with a genuine, “Hey you!†Follow that up with Brandon’s exceptional service, Elizabeth’s comedic wit(AND extraordinary service), and Ms Debi’s delicious home cookin... They really do make you feel right at home. Wish I could give more stars! âï¸ âï¸ âï¸ âï¸ âï¸ âï¸

Super cute restaurant! Food was absolutely amazing. Ordered the big bay breakfast. Eggs done perfectly. Bacon hot and crispy. Everything was done perfectly. Only complaints is it's a little confusing walking in. No signage as to "wait to be seated" or "seat yourself". Other complaint, I asked for Sweet Tea, received unsweetened but once I told my server she fixed it. Sounds like they just changed location and things are still a little different getting used to. Still super happy with this place!
