This is the second time I stood in line for 7 mins behind one person the cashier was speaking to. She ignored my presence completely and I ended upEating somewhere else. When I let her know today that this would be my third time not eating here the guy she was chit chatting with told her I should complain to the owner! That was extreme! Seeing I am black and they are both white. You need to let your employee know to acknowledge the next person standing in line by saying hey just one moment would have went along way vs ignoring them and overly chit chatting creating a bad customer experience, Instead I’m leaving this review to let the owners know!

I really wanted a flavor of Cuba but wow this place was a dissatisfying and disappointing. After growing to know the true Miami Cuban culture I was looking forward to a guava and queso pastelito but this place had them sitting under a heat lamp baking all day and they looked deflated. This is supposed to be a puff pastry made from flakey dough. This place is a cheap imitation that costs over three times the price from Miami. Just disappointing. It’s one of three places in the area where I know to get Cuban food and it’s truly the knock-off version.

First experience was good, but second was GREAT! First time rice was a little under cooked. Today it was perfectly soft and the flavor was amazing! They are super nice as well. I love their plantains. The Cuban sandwich was great and today's pork bowl was super yummy!

I ordered sweet plantains and a cheese empanada. The plantains were good, but the empanada was room temperature and literally dough and cheese. I was expecting some seasoning and additional filling, but there was none. The women working the counter were very kind and friendly, so I do want to return, but I think I may order something else next time.

Christy’s customer service is fantastic. The kitchen can be a bit slow and they need some people cross--trained to help out front due to fluctuations in customer volume at midday. I agree with some of the other comments about inconsistencies with food quality. I purchased a chicken empanada that caused me concern about the holding temperature. I didn’t care for their bowl-the beans seemed undercooked. Guava empanada, bread, and guava pineapple juice are good.

If you haven't had an empanada with an ice cold Iron Beer I dont even know what you are doing with your life. Awesome food, awesome atmosphere, and awesome customer service!

Love the vibes one of my favorite spots to grab some Cuban food. My favorite is the Medía Noche. OMG sooo good. But I will go in any day for the ice coffee. Made to perfection .

Cuban sandwiches were average as compared to other cuban restaurants I have tried. A bit plain tasting

Good place. Good bargains. Beware of the red salsa. It's really really hot. LOL

I might be biased because I am Cuban but this is the most lack luster imposter of a Cuban restaurant that I have ever encountered. I understand that they are catering to people who may not be familiar with what Cuban food is however that doesn’t mean make a mockery of it. The prices alone are enough to turn me away but since Cuban options are few and far between in the area I gave it a try...maybe it’s because they don’t have access to the ingredients that places in Miami do but that doesn’t justify opening a restaurant saying that you are an authentic Cuban place. If you are unfamiliar with Cuban cuisine, give it a try but know that no one working there is Cuban nor do they know what actual Cuban food is.

Magical green sauce... try it!! idk what it is, I've never asked lol but I put it on everything... the empanadas, the Cuban sandwich and even the plantains. Everything here is so flavorful. I didn't know I liked Cuban food until I tried this place.
