David King Chinese Restaurant

Just received my order of beef and broccoli and California rolls. I called back to complain the rolls were not fresh... When I opened the container the smell was strong, artificial crab???. I called and spoke with the owner who stated for 10 years no complain received about the rolls. She also checked my order history and said I only ordered the rolls 3 times in 1 year. Why is this important????An unsatisfied customer called with a concern. The owner kept restating the same lines over and over, " no complains". I questioned her, "whatever happened to customer service and customer satisfaction?Well, I am no longer a "David King" customer. Maybe they will find out what is truly customer service before their restaurant closes; restaurant competition is fierce!

Probably the worst Asian cuisine I have ever had the misfortune of sampling.I might as well have been wearing a clothes peg on my nose whilst eating this!!My wife and friends agree, and they're from Hong Kong.Disappointing and definitely will not be ordering again from David King! I would sayYuck but that would denote taste or flavour which is absent!!!

Delivery took over 1 hours and 30 minutes and all my food was cold. I tried to call but no one answered.

I love going to this restaurant ... And i understand that its pretty packed with orders but you should put more atention to the delivery i dont know if it was because my friens put a wrong number or sometjing happend but its just to putt more atenton im realy ok with it others may not... My soup came like this and spild all over my food

We love this place. Its not fancy but its consistent and delicious. They have good sushi in addition to chinese staples.

Decent

This review is for the takeout. My food was good, and delivery was swift. I was working late on Westchester Avenue and Harrison and David King was the only menu in our office, so I was pleased to hear that they would deliver considering we're 5 miles away. They saved my night with a delicious order of Sesame Chicken Dinner with came with California Rolls & Salad with Ginger dressing. A welcome treat was a small container of diced pineapple that came with my order.

They used to be better back in the day. Their duck sauce was watery.

Good Chinese food for a cheap price. You get what you expect. Quick service. Restaurant part is a hole in the wall. But you are there for the food.

Food was not good and very pricy. Spent $90 for take out for a family of 5 ( 3 small children); not worth it at all. I wouldn't have mind if it tasted good. The food containers were not even filled and we ordered dinner size meals. Was not enough food for everyone. Flavor was not there. We all got filled in the white rice it came with.

$38.89 for an order that they did not get correct. Let’s start with the price! I order Chinese every Sunday and this week it doubled in price...Service fast, I’ll give them that. 10 minute wait.However, food was not correct flavor and all sauces were diluted. No wonder why they are always empty inside. Not impressed.The sweet and sour chicken sauce was basically red jalapeños water, and chicken was extra mushy.The cold sesame peanut noodles were had a little liquidy sauceThe lo mein had 0 flavor, or added vegetables, straight noodle. Not impressed, will not return. I have a 3 for nice employees, clean environment, and speedy service.
