Great local bbq! Brisket falls apart pulled pork had lots of flavor. Homemade bbq and rubs this is my type of place. Inside is very small and minimalistic trust me that's not a bad thing. Owner want in when I stopped by but he must be popular with as many people asked where he was.

Legit amazing southern smoked BBQ. The brisket melts in your mouth. The pork is juicy and flavorful. The sausage is super flavorful. Sides are awesome as well. On point potato salad, beans and spicy slaw. The slaw has a real kick to it.

Amazing bbq, I ordered two bbq sandwiches along with 3 cornbread. The server asked me if I'm really gonna eat two sandwiches, let's just say I understand his question. The amount of bbq and quality of the bbq is amazing. A must try restaurant, southern style hole in the wall that Is a must try. Love this bbq, will be a returning customer. The amount of bbq from the two sandwiches were placed in a pot, you will get your money worth here.

Awesome food. Only down side is there are only 2 or 3 tables. Good news is that it tastes just as good sitting in the parking lot.

Virginia pilot food tasters were spot on! Great BBQ and sides. Had 3 meat platter with generous portions. Didn't make it out of the parking lot before wife and I ate all that.

Great food and great prices. You don't get a skimpy portion. One complaint is the meat was a bit dry but that was easily fixed with the AMAZING barbeque sitting on the tables.

Brisket is absolutely amazing—be sure to ask for the fatty pieces as it’s the most flavorful! Potato salad is great too!! A must go!

What are you waiting for? Best Q in Hampton Roads. Was getting gas and could smell the meat cooking a block away. Got the giant soft ball sized pulled pork sandwich. Amazing. Got eat here, you won't regret it.

I have been to Dave's BBQ twice now and I have been impressed both times. I have had BBQ from all over the country and this is the best I have had. I have had pulled pork, brisket and spicy sausage known as STAQ mountain. This portion is for someone that is truly hungry. They do not skimp on the portions and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone that likes good BBQ.

GET THE D.B.L on point and briquet is impeccable and the owner/staff are professional and and helpful!

A little pricey but worth the price. The best barbecue I’ve had at the beach. It’s nice to see a smoker and smelling it when you pull up. Definitely a hidden gem

Get the wet brisket. It seemed a little pricey. But then I tasted it. Best I’ve ever had. I previously had a pulled pork sandwich. Very generous portion.

This place was AMAZING! Far and away the best BBQ I've had since I moved here from Texas. Get there early bc the Brisket and ribs are gone by 2. The amount of food you get for the money is phenomenal. We had the 757, which is pulled pork with sausage sandwich, coleslaw and baked beans. Can't wait to go back for more!

Excellent food. No heat inside. Would definitely go back.
