I wanted to put together a special care package, but with a very hectic schedule, I needed some assistance as I wasn't able to get in to the business during open hours. Jamie gladly assembled a wonderful assortment of items on the budget I was working with, receiving minimal details and had it ready right away. He went the extra mile and beyond. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Exceptional Customer Service!

Such an amazing quaint little place! We came here for my birthday and were incredible happy about our choice. The Pork loin and mashed potatoes were so delicious that the weren't any leftovers! I can't stress enough how wonderful the food and staff are!

Went here today for the first time and I will definitely be going back.

Das Alpenhaus is not only a Deli but also has a German market inside that carries a ton of German products such as chocolates, sodas, sausages, spatzle, TONS of beer, etc. They don't have a traditional menu, the deli is a build your own sandwich to your own taste, the service is quick, and the food is amazing! They have a draught selection of a few German brews that you can order in multiple sizes, I chose a litre. Highly recommend!

We ate here for lunch and got their sausage goulash lunch special. It was great. Very tasty and much more filling than I anticipated. I eat quite a bit and couldn't finish my lunch. The staff was quite friendly too. They do lose 1 star because the seasoning jars on the table really (really) needed to be cleaned. They were a bit off putting.

Best German food in town! We very much enjoyed out time talking, laughing, eating, and drinking with everyone at the table! We will be going back very soon!

Yummy sandwiches and excellent selection of German beer and food

$14.99 lunch draft $6.50. friendly staff and knowledgeable. I'm going back, was pretty good.

Visited during Oktoberfest. Brats, potatoes and sour krout were very good. And, of course, German beer. Nice evening and good food and drinks.

The staff is beyond friendly, they always greet you when you walk in. I'm from Minnesota and am German myself so I know good German meats and food and this place is the best in the treasure valley by far. I usually end up going here a couple times a month. They have a great lunch meat selection. Many different sausages. Cheeses. A whole host of European treats and drink. They have a fantastic selection of German beer. And the staff is always quick to recommend products. They get to know you and recognize you. And my friends I promise, once you try their Schnitzel sandwich you will never want Subway again. The portions are always good. I can eat alot but I always feel full after I eat a sandwich there. 10/10 would recommend highly. Absalutly amazing.

Great selection of German food and beer.

Delicious little deli, German and Euro food. Loved the market side and excellent beer selection. Menu for food is limited but rotating and always delicious!

Just like going back to Germany! The food is always fresh and amazing. I go as often as I can and its always spot on, great service and food. If you have not stopped in for some authentic German food then your missing out. The schnitzel is a great place to start.
