I'm new to NJ so trying different restaurants has become a little hobby of mine. I had Dario's for lunch the other day and I must say, it was very impressive! I believe one of the cook's is the owner - Dario, who is very personable and professional guy! I selected the Vegetarian Taco Bowl - pretty amazing but I don't think anyone who's a TRUE vegetarian would eat this, as it has sour cream and cheese. I would definitely try them again and recommend to anyone who's a fan of Tex-Mex cuisine!

Taco Salad is fantastic. It is worth the 5 stars by itself. People here are nice. It is a bit confusing, it's not clear where to order when you walk in and when your order is ready but it is fast, delicious, and incredibly affordable for a solid amount of food. I'd definitely suggest checking it out!!

The food here is a AMAZING!! Everything is seasoned so well and you got lots of food for your money. They've got Chipotle beat and Qdoba, I love getting the chicken and beef bowl, rice lettuce corn bean cheese salsa and sour cream in a taco bowl all for 7 bucks. You really can't beat that, do yourself a favor-- eat here you're going to love it.

I admire this place! They provide first-cleass food, their menu is nice, The chef in that place is a real pro, I like a lot eating all their dishes. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service towards the guests is helpful. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I highly recommend it.

Dario is by far the biggest G I have ever met. Super cool, very charming, and makes MEAN food. I absolutely loved this place for how amazing the flavor is and how cheap it is. Its incredible. Chipotle WISHES it could ever compare to my man Dario. On top of that?? Hes so friendly?? We walked out during the rainstorm today and he gave us cardboard pieces to stay dry with!!! The mad man!! This place is amazing. Please give it a try!!

Dario's has been the best tex-mex you can get for at least ten years. The chicken quesadilla is to die for; especially when you dip it into their sour cream. People come for the taco bowl, as well. Small place and the owner remembers all his customers. I go by every few months and he still remembers my order!No better place to eat in Essex county

Definitely one of the best places to eat in downtown Newark. And Dario is also very cool and humble guy.
