Danzon Cubano

I expected to be impressed. It was good, some things were very good. I liked the level of heat/spice. Just wasn't over the top. Prices were decent, which is always a plus. We will go there again. It is a nice place.

Tasty sandwiches! Very good balance of bread to meat and sauce. Unique flavor. The plantane chips are an excellent side. Nice selection of drinks and good service with clean interior. I especially like the music selection. No parking nearby though.

Great place for drinks and some appetizers. We tried the empanadas and the shrimp topped tostones. Both were very good. Tried a few drinks and those were very good and refreshing. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Very nice! Glad to have something like this in the area. East-town of course is perfect. Have Great service and wonderful food. 4-5 stars!

Nice atmosphere and patio and good food. Parking a little difficult

A very modern atmosphere with an open and welcoming feeling. However there is no Cuban flair or even any real latin flair.I ordered the CALDOZA CUBANA(Cuban Stew). It was very good. However it wasn't very big and it had corn still on the cobb in the stew. The worst part this small serving was $7. I also ordered a cuban version of a monte cristo that had cream cheese in it. It was ok to good. The cream cheese kinda threw off the taste buds. I had it last month and now it doesn't seem to be on the menu. The worst thing for this sandwich was the price. $12 for just the sandwich. Come on at least give me some rice or beans.The service was excellent.Overall a 3 1/2 star experience. Since I have to round it'll be a 3, due to cost vs portion. Would I return? Probably, but not as a regular.

Food was really good. I thought the prices were good too. However the service was kind of slow.

This was an awesome experience! We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t too busy. Our food came out quick and Shauna was a great waitress! We got some ceviche and it may have been some of the beat seafood I have ever tasted. So fresh, clean, and vibrant! All of our food was flavorful and delicious. The lechón asado (pictured) was definitely filling, piled high with meat and beans. We will be back!

First time here and we are definitely coming back. I was craving something that it was not in the menu and the chef graciously deliver. The food was very authentic with a gourmet touch and amazing flavors. The staff was very nice and the place was clean and modern.

I really think this place should be more popular than it is. I went with a big group on a Friday night, and it was almost empty. We had amazing, attentive service, and everyone loved their food. They run a great happy hour which includes discounts on their fantastic appetizers. One of the waitresses made a "flaming margarita" tower, which was impressive. I knocked off just one star from the review because it did take awhile for the food to come out, and I felt like my sandwich (the vegan chorizo on a plantain bun), while delicious, could have used some spice or slaw or something to add another dimension to it. I would absolutely come back though.

I had such a great time here with my husband! The atmosphere was fun and the food was amazing!! I went home feeling so full and satisfied! I am not vegan but I loved that they had a vegan menu too! The Empanadas were crunchy with a warm and delicious filling and the sauce 🤤 and I had the tamale casserole (vegan) and it was so delicious! My husband had the Danzón Cubano sandwich and he said it was awesome! Then for dessert we had the bread pudding with papaya Prosecco sauce and a plantain ice cream!All in all it was a great experience and I can’t wait to go back and try more delicious food!

Had Sunday Brunch here today and we will be back! Loved the Cuban Bloody Mary - complete with mini Cuban sandwich - and the Spicy Vegan Bloody Mary. The fried calamari and tostones were a very nice start and didn't last long enough for pics. Main meals were all very good and generous portions, will have left overs for lunch coming up! had Pork Picadill, Danzon Cubano sandwich, Cuban French toast and brunch polenta. Planing to come back again for the happy hour and dinner menu.

Good food and great atmosphere. Live music all weekend at 9pm would be awesome, with a different Cubano theme each night. One night salsa, one night bachata, one night another Cuban style of music etc.

This was my first time here and having Cuban cuisine. I had the Danzón Cubano Sandwich which was superb and tried a couple different rums from their large selection. All around had a good time and I will be back.
