The Carrot Cake was delicious and filling. The serving was generous and the frosting was amazing!! I can't wait until she starts making cheesecakes but I've had the Carrot Cake Cupcake and the Strawberries and Cream Cake and they were all great!!! 🙌✊

This place has the best cupcakes on the planet. Ordinary cupcakes may have good frosting but the cake is dry - not this place. The batter is soft and moist and flavorful, the frosting doesn't taste like it came from Betty Crocker, and they use fresh fruit and other toppings to make these cupcakes taste extraordinary. They also have a great assortment of cakes. They aren't cheap but they taste heavenly. You will not regret it!

You can tell business has picked up for Danielle's but I am not sure they can keep up with demand. Also please work on the display case. The items are good but the display is NOT that appealing.

The cakes are addictive! A couple of my favorites are the strawberries and cream and the chocolate with white icing. The cookies are also delicious. Ask them to warm it up for you and it might not make it out the door 😋😋😋

Danielle’s Desserts has a wide range of richly made layer cakes, pies, cookies, bread puddings, and cupcakes. Their Southern Caramel (pictured here), Red Velvet, and Caramel Apple are among their most popular, but everything seems made with high-quality ingredients and worth a try. Coffees and about a dozen or so seats make this a great place to grab something to go or to stay.

this is by far the best cakes I've ever had. Stumble across the reviews on line and found out they deliver so I've had my second order and I'm scared because they are addictive, it's really really good

This place never disappoint. My son is a VIP customer, he bought me my first slice of cake and it was the bomb. I go myself and so does everyone whom I bought a slice for as well. Thanks to everyone at the bakery for satisfying my taste buds.

Very clean, friendly bakery with a lot of options to wreck your diet! Bonus star for strong AC in 90+ degree heat. I got the vanilla cupcake. Very moist with a creamy frosting.

I love their cupcakes. They are very reach flavored. Sugary? Yes... But not in an unnatural way. Really nice buttercream and just tastes amazing. Lemon buttercream is definitely the recommended to try. Me and my friend shop there almost every week. Also they are super professional and staff is awesome. Recently our order fell on the holiday and they were supposed to be closed for the day but since the order went in, without any hesitation they send in a person who took care of our order and not only that but they literally delivered it to our doors❤️ this is what i call valuing your customers. We were super grateful, thank you.

When it comes to baking this establishment wrote the book on cultivating moist, flavorful, deliciously memorable baked goods! From cakes to cookies you well never forget how the taste made you feel! Their Caramel Cake is the closest in taste to the one Mama used to make and to me that's simply amazing! Their desserts create a beautiful feeling of nostalgia for me & my family💙

I love Danielle's Dessert. She makes the best cakes, hands down. I was a long time customer in McLean, VA. Was incredibly happy to see her store open in DC. Finally made it there about a week ago. The quality and service are six stars!

The slice of Southern Carmel was super DELISH 😋😋 😍😍. The cake was semi dense (it could be more dense) and the frosting was thick and creamy and sweet. Have to come back for their other cakes!!!

Tried southern caramel cake, orange almond cake, caramel apple pie, and cookie between our group. Cakes were moist and flavorful. Caramel icing was decadent. Pie was the best piece of pie I have had in years. Combine with a spacious, clean and bright space, some good coffee and friendly service. I am almost glad I don't live nearby as I would be here too often.

2 Stars because the service was not an experience I want to have again. To me, the clerk was not friendly. Not that I was expecting a friend to greet me; but, a friendly welcome and friendly service is what I expected [since outside the store were colorful balloons]. I didn't feel welcome in your establishment. I paid with cash, and I was not offered a receipt. When I went back to get my receipt another clerk said, "did I press print?". I was not presented the opportunity to "press print" or aware there was a print button. For the record, I am making this review so that the owner of this company is aware of what is happening at the front counter. Further, I wrote this review before I ate the cake purchased. Will I return - we'll see.

Always on point. Best southern bakery in town. I travel during my lunch hour once a month to enjoy her baked goods. She is truly gifted.
