Danada Deli & Pantry

Great food and great people. No flash and all substance- my favorite kind of place. They offer fresh sandwiches and the best soups! We are also big fans of their homemade dinner specials. As parents of two littles it makes the occasional supper a little easier on us. Love the meatloaf and stuffed peppers.

Delicious homemade soup and sandwiches

Looking to shop local? It doesn't get more local than this. A Hungarian couple created this deli, modeled after their other deli (same name) in south Wheaton. Subs or sandwiches are made fresh to order. Scratch made soups daily. And a special of the day that is more like an entree. Reasonably priced. I would describe the interior as functional. I had the italian sub and the special of the day...swedish meatballs. The italian sub was good. Seemed a little heavy on the cheaper meats, but still good. The swedish meatballs were really good. Little meatballs over pasta with a cream sauce. Homemade desserts and fresh sausage are available too. Next time, skip Subway and try something new. You'll be happy you did.
