Dal Moro's Fresh Pasta to Go

Good but pricey for a pasta to go on a brand less box container. Fussily is over cooked and other pasta choices are not even available. Parmesan is free but wast not even on the condiments/take out section.

For about $12 you can get some freshly made pasta. In my case I tried the vegan pasta. It was really good even without the meat! Yes I’m a carnivore. A bit pricey for no meat but it was hot and fresh. The size was OK but I could have wolfed down a bit more than the serving provided.

Dal Moro is a fresh pasta to go takeout chain with locations all over Canada. You can build your own pasta by picking the sauce, type of pastas and more! Most of the sauces are vegetarian (none vegan) and there's some veggie toppings to pick from as well! If you'd rather sit in, the square one location is really pretty while still giving a casual vibe. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Both pastas I got was really good. You can definitely tell the pasta was made fresh. I wish I can share with you the smell, cause the aromas coming out of the box is to DIE for. I favoured the Mamma Rosa, it's a blend of tomato sauce and cream sauce. The pesto is good too, but beware it has a strong herbal mint taste to it. ⠀

My girlfriend and I got the pesto and regular one. It's not bad but there is definitely a better choice within the "food district"Pesto sauce didn't have enough olive oil ( kind of dry) as I have hoped, And the other was WAY overcooked pasta (some were a mush). Could be good but was not.

Service was quick and staff was knowledgeable on the menu, however I thought the food was overhyped. The way food pages and blogs promoted the food was completely different than what I actually got. I found my pasta to be bland and the portion was small for the price I paid. Plus if you wanted to get different toppings you had to pay $1 each. Overall experience was okay.

I've been visiting Dal Moro's since they first opened their doors in Toronto and I absolutely love their new location at The Food District! It has such a different vibe compared to the other locations but the quality of pasta is definitely at par with them, it's delicious. If it wasn't so far from home I would definitely visit this location a lot more. Can't wait to head back!

Just ok. I ordered the pasta with the rose sauce, can’t recall the name. Position size was pretty small for the cost. Taste was just alright. Nothing I would return for. Would I write them off entirely? No. But I’m definitely not going out of my way to go back. There are other places in the area to get fresh pasta that are way better.
