Ordered a coronation chicken baguette to takeaway. The filling was quite nice but the baguette was stale and chewy. My little boy had a sausage roll which he said was OK but again it was chewy and didn't seem fresh.. Won't be going back.

Good food, warm and fresh bread. Tasty products and friendly staff.

Lovely food but the portions could have been a bit more generous. I bought two small Christmas cakes for presents very reasonably priced. I also bought a fruit loaf which again was a very good price.

Went to this tea shop today, wanted a cream tea as advertised on a board outside the shop. When we went in was told that only take away available and no cream teas. Was amazed as this was only 3.15pm. Decided to have a pastie instead and a cup of tea, was then told no tea available.. sign outside and above door says TEA ROOM. Not quite sure how this place makes a living. The pastie we had was cold and was not asked if wanted it heated up, think it would have been too much bother for them. Needless to say not going there again !!

Nice breakfast and nice people. Reasonable prices and they'll sell you a loaf and a cake to take home.

Tea and coffee fine. Tea cakes fine, although slightly over cooked with winter berry jam....miserable lot serving... I think they’d rather you didn’t go in...sorry won’t go again, better across the road.

Nothing to dislike. Pleasant staff our dog was welcome to sit with us inside. Soup and roll was very nice would recommend.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and wonderful homemade cakes. Definitely will visit again
