Nice to treat yourself to a cold something on a hot day. The only bad thing was not much of hot food selection. Would have been nice to try the burgers or fries. But service was great and staff was excellent.

This is not a full service Dairy Queen (like a grill n chill). It has very limited food options and they do serve drinks. As far as I know, it does have the full ice cream/dessert menu. Very convenient and nice for the summer when you are hot and need to cool off or you just want some good, quality ice cream. It's in a decent spot in Lakeview and it's easy to walk to. It's not normally crowded but during the summer and after school, it does tend to get busy. They have a nice sitting area, but the place is not that big. Staff is nice.

This is one of the nicest Dairy Queen locations in the city, especially for cool treats. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and a fun family come that makes you want to linger. Or, take your blizzard for a stroll down the happening Southport corridor.

The employees here were two of the friendliest souls. I wish I had gotten their names to give them proper credit (two tall, thin young men anyway). The Strawberry-Banana Smoothie and Peanut Butter/Caramel Milkshake were delicious.

I love DQ! I stop by this location often while running errands. They have a small parking lot and spaces you can put your flashers on to go in and grab your ice cream. Very popular location after Cubs games and on hot summer days.

Fast service and great decor. Would have been nicer if the outdoor patio had chairs and seats when I went.
