Dagwood's New American Lounge

Food was good, staff was attentive without seeming pushy. Location was pretty, with a nice dining view of old bridge and river. Charming, clean restaurant and bar.

Awesome and fresh food, I like the mood the spot has, and the employees were nice. I will surely visit here next time.

This place has a great creative menu. I had the Reuben tater tots and pulled pork potato pancakes. Both seemed scratch made and were super tasty. The staff were very friendly.

Visited for dinner on a weekend. Place wasn't packed but there was a wait for the table even though there were open tables. Parking is a little bit of an adventure as it is quite limited and there isn't any overflow available to my knowledge. The place is divided into two sections where one is the bar and the restaurant.The seat down restaurant is quite cavernous and can get quite loud with not a lot of activity. Selection of beer wasn't too expansive but the choices were solid and every bear enthusiast should find something for them. What is quite interesting is the fact that they let you mix and match the appetizers so you can try little bit of everything. The food was quite good but the presentation could have been better. Our deep fried zucchini and cauliflower came in as a big blob for deep fried goodness. I would recommend and will visit again

Roast pork tacos with peach salsa were almost too good perfect for this nice sunny day by the riverside. Thumbs up and 5 stars from me.

Don't bother. This was our first time here, our friends said to meet us there because the food was great. We sat down at the bar at 9:15pm, ordered drinks and food because we were starving. Bartender scoffed at us when we said we had friends coming (his attitude was the reason we left), our friends pulled into the parking lot and our bartender says "tell them we close in 20 minutes and need you all to wrap it up" We closed our tabs and canceled our food order and left our full beers on the bar. This restaurant would have made good money and the bartender would have put cash in his pocket if he had any personality and excepted new Milford locals. A customer told us to go to Italia Mia so we will spend our money there tonight.My friends and I will not be back at this restaurant due to this experience.

I had a terrible experience here. They paid us back for our meal but I wouldn't go back

We've eaten there once with their second string cook. I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon jam. It was one of the tastiest burger I've ever had and I've had quite a few.The only reason why it's four stars is because I haven't eaten from the first string yet. Will let you know.

One of the worst restaurants I've been too. Ordered skirt steak medium well and and I got strips of ultra dry leather and it was incredibly bland. I took 2 bites and sent it back. They refused to comp my meal and the manager was very rude. Tried to convince me that it was cooked medium well and that medium well steak is not supposed to have any moisture. It was very overcooked. Do not recommend this place at all. A $20 meal that I took 2 bites out of. Ridiculous.

When the store initially opened service was very slow, however, they have since improvedI have not yet had a meal here that disappointed me, and in fact have found the dishes to be quite delicious with all the right touchesSome foods i have had include the eggs Benedict, the English muffins were toasted which in my opinion really adds to the dish, the hollandaise was among the best i have had, and the home fries are good, but are not the best i have ever hadI have had the wings, which i can wholeheartedly recommend as the bbq sauce that they make them with is clearly made from scratch and is incredible, the wings always come out cooked right with a nice crunchThey also make very good tater tots, they are a little greasy, but they are very crunchy and are quite goodI would recommend giving the place a shot.

They seem to be back on track! I visited after they moved out on Rt 7 and they were very slow, once we got our food it was good. My recent visit was much better, the food came out promptly and you could tell it was all made from good meats and vegetables. Old review: I had dinner here the other night and they did a good Cheese Steak; plus, they serve a good selection of beer and wine. It is a nice little place.

I forget how GREAT this place is!!! I get the Bianca flatbread and it always hits the spot! Tried the wings last night for the first time and DAMN they were good! Can’t wait until next time (:
