Dagon

We have been to Dagon previously and had a delightful if somewhat costly meal. My wife really enjoyed it and we decided to have Dagon food for her birthday dinner delivered to our apartment. The $34 salmon was barely 4 ounces with three brussels sprouts, a considerable rip off given the size of the portion and that the advertised ginger-turmeric vinaigrette was nowhere in evidence. My vegetable tagine was mediocre, no real flavor. Maybe it is the difference with eating in and ordering takeout, but it is the same kitchen and the same recipes, we are baffled as to the disparity of experience we encountered.

Wonderful food and nice outdoor dining with heaters. The bread is the best I have ever had

Had a roasted eggplant soup that was exceptionally. Downhill from there. Burger was dry + well done, when ordered rare. My dish was so so. Drinks were good. Very pretty place.
