Dad's Kitchen

Great food, and service. We started with onion rings that came out hot, fresh, and crispy. I had the bacon wrapped meat loaf with mashed potato's, and veggies. The veggies were broccoli, carrots, brussel sprouts. My wife had the Hot Blonde Panini, and loved every bite. We will definitely be going back in the future.

My top spot for delicious American food. It was so delicious. I will be back with my relatives. This place has a cool feel to it.

Exceptional food for sure. Huge portion sizes. They were busy so service was slower than I would prefer, but our waitress was very friendly.

Delicious food. Fish and chips were the best I've ever had. The Hot Blonde Panini was great as well. Very friendly service. It was on the pricy side, but well worth it. Do yourself a favor and try the fried artichoke hearts. If you don't like spicy things, try them with the red pepper aïoli spread.

Been going here for years. The friendliness of the staff, the good food, and the amazing beer selection keep us coming back. Try the fried garbanzo beans!!!

Yum yum! Dad’s is not the place to go when you are on a diet! The food is fabulous and creative and you will eat the bun even if you had every intention of skipping the carbs because it tastes that dang good! The Pony Express sandwich was soft tri-tip, gooey cheese sauce and sautéed peppers. Think Philly cheesesteak, Dad’s style. Though the Hot Blonde sounds like it is full of veggies, there is just enough to make you feel good while eating the delicious hot panini. But it’s not a diet food! They have the regular kids menu but the sliders are very good and were made out of the same delicious hamburger meat as their bigger counterparts. We had a watermelon mint kombucha and that was so refreshing and light! Service is always on point and the atmosphere is fun and upbeat. One of my favorite places to dine in all of Sacramento to!

Great food. The burgers are nice but slightly pricey. The fried artichoke and onion rings were absolutely amazing. Great beer selection. They had some top tier beers on tap and a decent variety from hazy IPAs, pilsners, sours, and more. About $8/beer. Service was really good as well. Helpful and friendly staff helped make this experience quite enjoyable.

Good food, cozy modern environment, good prices.

I've always wanted to visit this place since I saw it on Food Network. We sat in the bar and had drinks and apps. The bartender was super cool and so were the regulars who came in. Loved the fried artichokes and the fried chickpeas!!! So addictingly good!

I was happy surprised by how old school the place looks. I did notices that there is no diversity amoung workers or costumers. My boyfriend and I are a mix race couple; I felt uncomfortable as soon as we got seated because everyone decided to be quite and stare at us. The food was nothing special. I order the cowboy burger which should have bbq souce but it bearly had any. It didn't tasted like bbq at all. My boyfriend ordered the meatloaf sandwich which was too dry and hard to eat. My first experience was not great but I will probably give it another chance in the future when I go with my group of friends.

This place was alright. The burger that I had, I believe that Dad's Burger, had a chili pepper sauce on it of sorts. It just didn't fit with the rest of the flavor. Found it a bit odd. The booth was quite uncomfortable as it was dipping to one side.
