You don't go here for a 100$ meal, you go for comfort food. And, Da Giovanni delivers. It's been here a long time and their sauce still uses the same recipe.

I ordered chicken fettuccine, but there is apparently no chicken! Italian sausages were very good though. The waiter was nice and welcoming to me, but there is one older waitress who was not nice. She seem like cannot wait till I finish. I feel she had some prejudgments towards me. She didn't ask me how was the food, nor looked at me or say anything when served me the food. She just came and put my food on the table and left. I cannot believe I was treated like that. I felt discriminated.I still gave her decent amount of tips, that's when she became happy. Unbelievable.

When in Montreal you have to go here. Same food and taste for the past 40 years and always fast service.

I first tried Di Giovanni as a kid in 1995 .I loved the atmosphere the decor and how many times my dad and I came back. Now after moving back from the state's I have taken my son here . He and my wife were tired of hearing how much I love this place and now they know why.

Traditional spaghetti sauce and cheese. Pizza for lunch or dinner. Flexible with or without extra garlic bread. Bravo.

Good basic French Canadian style Italian restaurant. Pizza with spaghetti and a soft drink all served in a 1950 style dining room. Brings me back to my youth! Family-friendly at a reasonable price.
