Very good Italian restaurant with mostly a cicilian influence and some piedmontese as well. It is like home cooking. The owner and staff are very nice. The food is fresh delicious and light. Highly recommended.

The food is good and the atmosphere is calming. The owner plays piano right in the dining room, for birthdays or other occasions.

Hands down, the most delicious authentic Italian food I've ever had. Service was great, Mr. Da Filippo, was the best host AND chef. How often does the owner of a restaurant sit down at a grand piano and sing you happy birthday? Absolutely the best dinner experience I've had in a long time. I'll be back, keep the piano tuned up for me!!!!

Lovely restaurant with excellent food. The owner and chef is very good. If you are there when he finishes cooking he comes out and plays the piano.

My son made reservations for dinner as a present for me to celebrate mother's day. This was my first time at this restaurant. The food was fantastic. I chose the cod fish fillet in parchment paper. It was bursting in flavor. The rest of the meals met and exceed our expectations. We all loved the atmosphere and the food.

Nice romantic atmosphere. The owners graciously greet you. They are very polite and accommodating. The food was great and so was the desert. At the end both owners shook our hands and said goodbye. Highly highly recommend it!!!

Amazing experience! In addition to the incredible food, wines and desert they provided us, we were also welcomed with great sympathy and attention. To think that our biggest concern would be if they would let us in sandals. We could not have made a better choice. Thank you for that.

Cute little BYO Italian restaurant on the east end of Somerville. We've been there twice and the food was consistently good. We'll be back. And, as a bonus, there is a sizable parking lot right behind the restaurant.

Amazing night at Da Filippo! My wife had a great meal a few weeks ago. Muscles Appetizer, Salad, and 2 Shrimp & Pasta dishes. We enjoyed meeting and getting to know the owners. Very nice people! We are definitely going back many more times. Highly recommend!
