Starnes Barbeque is a Paducah institution. Growing up here I took it for granted...passing through today on other business I couldn't help but stop in for a pulled pork sandwich with hot sauce and a cold sun drop! This place never disappoints! Cheers!

BBQ; Beef, Pork, Turkey, Ham and Bologna it's the best through and through especially with cole slaw or baked beans. Ice cold R.C. Cola products abound with old fashioned moon pies for desert and many other candies, snacks and goodies. Extremely well-priced and ALWAYS super duper busy, it's best to get their when they first open which is around 11 a.m. cst Tuesday through Saturday because by lunchtime you can barely move in that lunch-counter style green and white cinder block building.Closed on Sundays and Mondays, most all federal holidays too! Give Starnes BBQ of Paducah a try!

Starnes is an old school 1950s style BBQ sandwich diner. They have a really small menu, which consists of about five different kinds of meat, all served on grilled white bread. The menu also has potato salad and coleslaw. They have their own BBQ sauce which they will put on the sandwiches or serve it on the side. All their food is delicious, although the pulled pork was a little dry. The ham is off the charts good.

Found online and stopped by on a football road trip. Neat place with a lot of history. Limited menu, but not a problem for us as we just wanted a sandwich. Love how they toast them! Got a Pork & Turkey Sandwich to try. Turkey was very tender. Sauce is pretty spicy, which you can buy there as well. Prices were very reasonable, place was very clean, & staff was extremely nice. Worth the stop if you're passing through Paducah!
