Cypress Street Station

We spent a lot of money here and we’re very disappointed in this restaurant. The service was very good and the hostesses were friendly, but the food was a major disappointment. I had a chicken dish that was overcooked and generally flavorless and my husband’s fish was overcooked. Yes, we should have complained but we were with another couple and didn’t want to create a problem. So I take this opportunity to register my opinion and suggest you go elsewhere.

Great service, concise menu, good veggies & salads, local beer on tap, open tall ceiling historical dinning room.

The place itself was nice, cool fireplace that wasn't on. The food unfortanely was almost unacceptable. Potato skins were bad, cold, cheap cheese on top. The bacon in theWedge salad was crunchy. Not crunchy bacon feel from slightly overcooked bacon, this was the crunch from stale old bacon. The kind that hurts the bite to into. The fish on the fish and chips dish was this pathetic looking fish-stick type of thing. And if those fries are hand cut they must have the Keebler back there cutting these little guys out. The server was friendly and kept our glasses full.

Stopped on the way traveling back home. Me and my family enjoyed everything we got. The sweet tea was also delicious. Very friendly staff and great service. everything’s homemade and the restaurant is locally owned. Highly recommend.

We came in 15 minutes before closing (I know, I know...) and were warmly greeted by the one server/bartender. He was friendly and worked very hard keeping up with all the tables. Can't imagine why there was just one person there but he did a great job and earned these 5 stars. Wish I had caught his name. The food was pretty good, too. I think we would return next time we're in town.

Had 5 different meals & a couple appetizers. I believe theres not a bad dish on the menu. Definitely worth the price. Phenomenal!

Nice place. There where 6 of us dinner and we all had good food and a good time. No one was disappointed at all. The waitress and staff was on point. If I come back to town I would come back for another relaxing dinner for sure.

We decided to get off of the interstate to find lunch and ended up at Cypress Street Station. The hostess and waitress were friendly and the service was pretty quick. The bathrooms were clean. My husband enjoyed the Texas Storm wrap. I had the Thai chicken salad. The grilled chicken was good and the greens were fresh. I think the dressing could have had a little more vinegar and a little more kick but it wasn't bad.

The food was cooked better then anywhere I have been. I enjoyed the service. I will tell peoe that the drinks are worth the dollar!

The food was excellent and the cocktails and wine were excellent. Add in the friendly and knowledgeable bartender and it was a perfect experience.

Great burgers and a relaxing atmosphere. The piano player was there late at night and it makes you feel like your in a spy movie, meeting a rendezvous at the bar.
